Hubungan antara workplace bullying dengan job performance pada tenaga keperawatan usia produktif
T enaga kesehatan diperlukan untuk menunjang berjalannya visi misi sebuah organisasi kesehatan agar lebih efektif dan efisien. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan lingkungan kerja harmonis dalam organisasi untuk mendukung peran tersebut. Occupational Safety and Health Administration mendapatkan 21% tenaga kesehatan melaporkan mengalami workplace bullying. Praktik workplace bullying didapatkan cenderung lebih sering terjadi di industri perawatan dibanding industri lainnya. Konsekuensi dari bullying tidak sedikit yang menimbulkan gejala-gejala parah mulai dari segi fisik dan psikologis hingga penurunan job performance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai hubungan workplace bullying dengan job performance.METODEPenelitian ini menggunakan studi potong lintang pada 109 responden usia produktif yang terdiri dari 83 perempuan dan 26 laki-laki yang bekerja sebagai perawat di RS Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Variabel yang diteliti adalah workplace bullying menggunakan NAQ-R Indonesian Version dan job performance menggunakan IWPQ Indonesia. Uji Chi-square digunakan dalam analisis data dengan tingkat kemaknaan p<0,05.HASILResponden didominasi oleh perempuan, usia 22-30 tahun, dan perawat vokasi. Workplace bullying didominasi perawat yang mengalami bully sedangkan job performance didominasi tingkat rendah. Hasil analisis hubungan antara workplace bullying dengan job performance pada perawat menunjukkan hubungan yang bermakna (p=0,000).KESIMPULANTerdapat hubungan antara Workplace bullying dengan job performancepada perawat usia produktif.
H ealth workers are needed to support the vision and mission of a health organization to be more effective and efficient. Therefore, a harmonious work environment is needed within the organization to support this role. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration found that 21% of health workers reported experiencing workplace bullying. The practice of workplace bullying is found to be more common in the nursing industry than in other industries. The consequences of bullying are not a few which cause severe symptoms ranging from physical and psychological aspects to decreased job performance. This study aims to assess the relationship between workplace bullying and job performance.METHODThis study used a cross-sectional study on 109 respondents of productive age consisting of 83 women and 26 men who worked as nurses at the Bangka Belitung Islands Provincial Hospital. The variables studied were workplace bullying using the NAQ-R Indonesian Version and job performance using IWPQ Indonesia. The Chi-square test was used in data analysis with a significance level of p<0.05.RESULTSRespondents were dominated by women, aged 22-30 years, and vocational nurses. Workplace bullying is dominated by nurses who experience bullying, while job performance is dominated by low levels. The results of the analysis of the relationship between workplace bullying and job performance on nurses showed a significant relationship (p = 0.000).CONCLUSIONThere is a relationship between workplace bullying and job performance in nurses of productive age.
