U sulan Perbaikan Sistem Pemeliharaan Mesin Rolling MillDengan Metode Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Di LiniRolling Mill 1 PT. Jakarta Cakratunggal Steel MillPT. Jakarta Cakratunggal Steel Mill merupakan perusahaan yang bergerakdalam industri besi beton. Dalam proses produksi besi beton, mesin rolling millmerupakan mesin penting karena melakukan proses utama yaitu prosespenggilingan. Namun pada tahun 2019, mesin rolling mill memiliki waktukerusakan paling tinggi yang menyebabkan proses produksi besi beton harusdihentikan. Oleh karena itu, mesin rolling mill harus dilakukan pemeliharaandengan baik agar proses kerja mesin tetap berjalan lancar sehingga tidakmenghambat proses produksi. Sistem pemeliharaan mesin rolling mill menerapkancorrective dan preventive maintenance. Preventive maintenance yang diterapkanbelum efektif karena kegiatan pemeliharaan tidak konsisten hanya berdasarkanarahan kepala seksi dengan menulis kegiatan di papan kegiatan, pergantiankomponen hanya dilakukan saat mengalami kerusakan dan semua kegiatanpemeliharaan dilakukan oleh divisi roll service karena crew produksi yg memilikijarak terdekat dengan mesin kurang pemahaman mengenai mesin. Tujuanpenelitian ini adalah melakukan perbaikan pada sistem pemeliharaan mesin rollingmill dengan metode Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) melalui 12 langkahpengembangannya. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) merupakan konseppemeliharaan untuk mengoptimalkan efektivitas mesin rolling mill denganmelibatkan semua karyawan terutama crew/operator dalam pemeliharaan mesin.Berdasarkan pengukuran efetivitas mesin rolling mill dengan perhitunganOverall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), diperoleh nilai Overall EquipmentEffectiveness (OEE) mesin rolling mill pada tahun 2019 sebesar 58.70%. Usulanpengembangan 12 langkah Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) bertujuan untukmeningkatkan efektivitas mesin rolling mill dengan diawali pengenalan TotalProductive Maintenance (TPM) kepada crew dan pembuatan Struktur OrganisasiTotal Productive Maintenance (TPM) kemudian berfokus pada programAuotonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance dan Training. Pengembangan12 langkah Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) yang dilakukan menghasilkankenaikan nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) sebesar 1.51% menjadi60.21%.

Jakarta Cakratunggal Steel Mill is a company engaged in the concrete ironindustry. In the concrete iron production process, the rolling mill machine is animportant machine because it carries out the main process, namely the millingprocess. However, in 2019, the rolling mill machine has the highest breakdown timewhich causes the concrete iron production process to be stopped. Therefore, therolling mill machine must be properly maintained so that the machine work processcontinues to run smoothly so as not to hamper the production process. The rollingmill machine maintenance system applies corrective and preventive maintenance.Preventive maintenance that has been implemented has not been effective becausemaintenance activities are not consistent only based on the direction of the sectionhead by writing activities on the activity board, component replacement is onlycarried out when it is damaged and all maintenance activities are carried out bythe roll service division because the production crew who has the closest distanceto the machine is less understanding regarding the engine. The purpose of thisresearch is to make improvements to the rolling mill machine maintenance systemwith the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) method through 12 developmentsteps. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a maintenance concept to optimizethe effectiveness of a rolling mill machine by involving all employees, especiallycrew / operators in machine maintenance.Based on the measurement of the effectiveness of the rolling mill machine with thecalculation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), the value of OverallEquipment Effectiveness (OEE) for the rolling mill machine in 2019 was 58.70%.The proposed development of 12 steps Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) aimsto increase the effectiveness of rolling mill machines by starting with theintroduction of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to the crew and making theTotal Productive Maintenance (TPM) Organizational Structure then focusing onAuotonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance and Training programs. Thedevelopment of the 12 steps of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) that wascarried out resulted in an increase in the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)value of 1.51% to 60.21%.
