K lasifikasi dan estimasi sumberdaya batubara di Pit J, Sangatta, Kalimantan Timur dilakukan dengan pendekatan variasi spasial menggunakan ilmu geostatistik dan metode Kriging untuk medapatkan klasifikasi dan estimasi sumberdaya batubara yang akurat. Dalam ilmu Geostatisik tersebut diawali dengan analisa data spasial dengan menggunakan variogram yang kemudian parameternya diolah dengan metode Kriging untuk mendapatkan nilai Kriging Variance untuk proses klasifikasi sumberdaya batubara dan estimasi sumberdaya batubara.Dari analisis variogram model spherical ketebalan lapisan BE utara diperoleh range 151 , sill 0.65, dan Nugget Effect 0.04, lapisan NM utara range 250 , sill 0.027, dan Nugget Effect 0.0009 lapisan BE selatan range 209 , sill 0.16, dan Nugget Effect 0.26, lapisan NM selatan range 475 , sill 3.198, dan Nugget Effect 0.861.Secara kualitas lapisan BE selatan pada kadar abu diperoleh range 217 , sill 3.13, dan Nugget Effect 0, kadar sulfur diperoleh range 220 , sill 0.24, dan Nugget Effect 0.192, dan nilai kalori diperoleh range 576, sill 90210, dan Nugget Effect 2790. Secara kualitas lapisan NM selatan pada kadar abu diperoleh range 341 , sill 9.5, dan Nugget Effect 0.6, kadar sulfur diperoleh range 278.9 , sill 0.29, dan Nugget Effect 0, nilai kalori diperoleh range 353 , sill 68000, dan Nugget Effect 0.Berdasarkan klasifikasi sumberdaya batubara dengan metode Relative Kriging Standard Devitiation ( RKSD ) pada lapisan NM utara,BE selatan,dan NM selatan didapatkan klasifikasi sumberdaya tereka,terunjuk,dan terukur.Sedangkan pada lapisan BE Utara hanya sumberdaya tereka dan tertunjuk. Estimasi sumberdaya batubara dengan metode Kriging didapatkan 32,681,000 ton dengan rincian sumberdaya tereka 2,933,000 ton, sumberdaya tertunjuk 12,618,000 ton dan sumberdaya terukur 17,130,000 ton.

C lassification and coal resource estimation in Pit J, Sangatta, East Kalimantan using spatial variance approachment with geostatistics and Kriging method for accurately classification and coal resource estimation.In geostatistics start with spasial data analys that use variogram which the parameters of variogram used for Kriging method to get Kriging Variance score for classification and coal resource estimation.The analysis with spherical model variogram of coal thickness seam north BE obtained with a score of range 151 , sill 0.65, and Nugget Effect 0.04,seam north NM with a score of range 250 , sill 0.027, and Nugget Effect 0.0009, seam south BE with a score of range 209 , sill 0.16, and Nugget Effect 0.26, seam south NM with a score of range 475 , sill 3.198, and Nugget Effect 0.861. In quality of seam south BE for ash contain obtained with a score of range 217 , sill 3.13, and Nugget Effect 0, sulfur with a score of range 220 , sill 0.24, and Nugget Effect 0.192, calori with a score of range 576, sill 90210, and Nugget Effect 2790.In quality of seam south NM for ash contain obtained with a score of range 341 , sill 9.5, and Nugget Effect 0.6, sulfur with a score of range 278.9 , sill 0.29, and Nugget Effect 0, calori with a score of range 353 , sill 68000, and Nugget Effect 0. Classification of coal resource using Relative Kriging Standard Devitiation method for seam north NM, south BE, south NM obtained inferred,indicated,measured resource classification.Then for seam north BE obtained inferred and indicated. Coal resource estimation with Kriging method obtained 32,681,000 ton with details inferred resource 2,933,000 ton, indicated resource 12,618,000 ton and measured resource 17,130,000
