P enelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yangmempengaruhi financial performance pada perusahaan manufaktur sektor barangkonsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Variabel dependen yangdigunakan pada penelitian ini adalah financial performance yang diukur denganreturn on equity dan return on sales. Sementara itu, variabel independen yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi quick ratio, total assets turnover ratio,leverage, firm size, growth in sales dan consumer price index. Sampel yangdigunakan sebanyak 36 perusahaan manufaktur sektor barang konsumsi yangterdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2015-2019. Jenis data yangdigunakan merupakan data sekunder. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakanadalah purposive sampling method. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresilinier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil regresi linier berganda menunjukkan bahwa quickratio, total assets turnover ratio dan consumer price index berpengaruh positifsignifikan terhadap return on equity, firm size berpengaruh negatif signifikanterhadap return on equity, leverage dan growth in sales tidak berpengaruh terhadapreturn on equity. Total assets turnover ratio dan growth in sales berpengaruh positifsignifikan terhadap return on sales, firm size dan consumer price index berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap return on sales, quick ratio dan leverage tidakberpengaruh terhadap return on sales. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapatmemberikan masukan bagi perusahaan dan investor agar mempertimbangkan totalassets turnover ratio, firm size dan consumer price index karena akan mempengaruhifinancial performance.

T his study aims to examine and analyze the factors that affect that financialperformance of manufacturing firms in the consumer goods sector listed on theIndonesia Stock Exchange. The dependent variable used in this study is financialperformance as measured by return on equity and return on sales. Meanwhile, theindependent variables used in this study are quick ratio, total assets turnover ratio,leverage, firm size, growth in sales and consumer price index. The sample used was36 manufacturing firms in the consumer goods sector listed on the Indonesia StockExchange during the 2015-2019 period. The type of data used is secondary data. Thesampling technique is purposive sampling method. The data analysis used wasmultiple linier regression. Based on the result multiple linier regression, it show thatsquick ratio, total assets turnover ratio and consumer price index has a significantpositive effect on return on equity, firm size has a significant negative effect onreturn on equity, leverage and growth in sales has no effect on return on equity. Totalassets turnover ratio and growth in sales has a significant positive effect on return onsales, firm size and consumer price index has a negative effect on return on sales,quick ratio and leverage has no effect on return on sales. The results of this study areexpected to provide input for companies and investors to consider the total asset turnover ratio, company size and consumer price index because they will affectfinancial performance.
