Faktor–faktor yang mempengaruhi cash holding perusahaan sektor consumer non-cyclical yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia
P enelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menguji faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi cash holding pada perusahaan consumer non-cyclical yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 68 perusahaan consumer non-cyclical yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2017-2021. Variabel independen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu shariah compliant, firm size, profitability, net working capital, leverage, operating cash flow dan capital expenditure, serta variabel dependennya cash holding. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan shariah compliant, net working capital, leverage dan operating cash flow berpengaruh positif terhadap cash holding. Profitability dan capital expenditure berpengaruh negatif terhadap cash holding sedangkan firm size tidak berpengaruh terhadap cash holding. Diharapkan perusahaan dalam mengelola cash holding agar tetap optimal dengan memperhatikan tingkat profitability, net working capital, leverage, operating cash flow, dan capital expenditure.
T his study was conducted with the aim of testing factors that can affect cash holding in non-cyclical consumer companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample used in this study was 68 non-cyclical consumer companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2017-2021 period. The independent variables used in this study are shariah compliant, firm size, profitability, net working capital, leverage, operating cash flow and capital expenditure, as well as dependent variables of cash holding. The results of this study show that Shariah compliant, net working capital, leverage and operating cash flow have a positive effect on cash holding. Profitability and capital expenditure negatively affect cash holding while firm size does not affect cash holding. It is expected that the company in managing cash holdings remains optimal by paying attention to the level of profitability, net working capital, leverage, operating cash flow, and capital expenditure which can affect the level of cash holding.
