Analisis implementasi pengemanan wireless LAN pada pelayanan terpadu pemerintah provinsi DKI Jakarta
P Pelayanan Terpadu Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta adalah salah satu program kerja dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan terhadap masyarakat dalam pelaksanaannya menggunakan media Wireless LAN Cisco Aironet sebagai salah satu bagian dari infrastruktur akses Internet dan Intranetnya. Dibawah Dinas Komunikasi Informatika dan Kehumasan, perangkat infrastruktur akses internet dan intranet dikelola dan dioptimalisasikan sebagaimana merupakan bagian dari tugas pokok operasi atau Tupoksi-nya. Namun dalam prakteknya, penggunaan Wireless LAN (WLAN) memiliki banyak kelemahan dalam menghadapi gangguan yang terjadi seperti serangan cracker, intruder bahkan hacker. Karma freksibilitas aksesnyalah yang membuat para cracker, intruder dan hacker sat untuk dibendung tanpa adanya rnekanisme pengaman yang memadai. Dalam pengernbangan implementasi WLAN pada tahun 2011, Dinas Komunikasi Informatika dan Kehumasan selaku pemegang tanggung jawab akan penyediaan layanan intranet maupun internet unit kerja terkait pada lingkup Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta menetapkan penggunaan system pengamanan Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA). Pelaksanaan implementasi system pengaman WPA dilakukan dalam beberapa tahapan, seperti konfigurasi pada Wireless Access Point, Wireless Controller (WLC), RADIUS Server, dan terakhir adalah Wireless Client.Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan pada tesis ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kondisi sebelum adanya implementasi system keamanan pada perangkat WLAN sangatlah memprihatinkan karena banyaknya gangguan yang diakibatkan oleh unauthorized person yang melakukan cracking intruding, hacking dan bahkan menyebarkan banyak virus-virus computer. Pada tahun 2011 dilakukan implementasi system pengaman WLAN pada infrastruktur Wireless Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Pelaksanaannya diawali oleh kajian berlandaskan sudut pandang tingkat keamanan, reliabilitas dan kecepatan akses hingga menyimpulkan penggunaan WPA sebagai system yang cocok untuk Infrastruktur Dinas Komunikasi Informasika clan. Kehumasan Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Kondisi akhir setelah implementasi ini dilakukan, performa WLAN Pelayanan Terpadu telah mengalami peningkatan yang sangat signifikan dalam sisi keamanan, dan keandalan tanpa mengorbankan kecepatan maupun bandwidth.
I Integrated Services for Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta is one of the work programs in improving the quality of service to the community and in its implementation using Cisco Aironet Wireless LAN media as one of the Internet and Intranet access infrastructure. Under Department of Communications Information and Public Relations, the Internet and intranet access infrastructure is managed and optimized as a part of the main tasks of its operations or Tupoksi. However, in practice, the use of Wireless LAN (WLAN) has many disadvantages such as many disturbances that occur as a cracker attack, intruders and even hackers. Because it's flexibility to access makes the cracker, intruders and hackers easy to do their job.In the development of WLAN implementation in 2011, the Department of Communication Information and Public Relations as the holder of the responsibility of intranet and internet service provision related to the scope of the work unit Jakarta provincial government establish a security system usig Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA). WPA security system implementatiorris done in several stages, such as the configuration of the Wireless Access Point, Wireless Controller (WLC), RADIUS Server, and the latter is a Wireits Client.In implementation, the Department of Communication Information and Public Relation Jakarta Provincial Government as the holder of responsibility for the provision of public services both intranet and internet security systems establish the use of Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA). The selection system was done after the study of wireless LAN security is carried out in early 2011. Based on the analysis conducted in this thesis, it can be concluded that the conditions prior to the implementation of security on the WLAN system is very worrying because of the disruption caused by an unauthorized person to cracking, intruding, hacking and even spread a lot of computer viruses. In the year 2011 made the implementation of a safety system in the infrastructure WLAN Wireless Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta. Preceded by a review of the implementation point of view based on security levels, reliability and access speed of up to conclude the use of WPA as a suitable system for the Information Communication Infrastructure and Public Relations Office Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta. Conditions after the end of this implementation, the performance of WLAN Integrated Services has experienced a very significant improvement in the security, and reliability without sacrificing speed and bandwidth.
