P TPN III PARAS is a company engaged in the processing of crudeoil. This research was conducted on operators working at processingstations consisting of boiling, press, boiler and engine room. Boilingoperators were found to have feelings of anxiety and monotonous workingconditions when monitoring machine activities. The press operatorexperienced boredom while monitoring the digester and screw machinesand felt anxious about the danger of falling. Boiler operators experiencemuscle fatigue and sweat profusely. Engine room operators are concernedabout the dangers of electric shock and noisy conditions. The workingenvironment conditions in the factory are not ergonomic. This study usesthe NASA-TLX method as a subjective mental workload measurement inassessing the operator's perceived workload and the CVL method uses pulsemeasurement during work as an assessment of the operator's physicalworkload. This study aims to provide suggestions for improvements toreduce mental workload and physical workload. The NASA-TLXmeasurement results obtained WWL operators and boiling helpers of 83.34and 82 categories very high. Operator and helper press obtained WWLvalues of 100 and 96 very high categories. Operators and boiler helpersobtained WWL 86 and 91.34 very high categories. Machine room operatorwith a score of 75 in the high category and the helper in 92 in the very highcategory. The results of the CVL calculation are obtained by the boileroperator with a value of 31.61 and the helper boiler of 31.91 so thatimprovements are needed. Based on this research, the proposedimprovements are stress management training carried out for 2 weeks andstress management practices with morning exercise before work as well asproviding the addition of a cyclone turbine ventilator type L-75 with asuction capacity of 117.75 m3/minute at the station. boiler with a totalrequirement of 13 pieces
