Penerapan konservasi air pada Gedung C Universitas Trisakti sebagai upaya menuju green building
K elangkaan air bersih salah satunya disebabkan oleh masyarakat yang belum bisamemanfaatkan penggunaan air secara tepat dan maksimal. Apabila hal ini tidak segeradiatasi, maka akan menyebabkan permasalahan krisis air bersih yang terjadi secaraterus menerus. Menerapkan konsep green building merupakan salah satu upaya untukmemenuhi ketersediaan air bersih. Seiring berkembangnya teknologi dan informasi,pelaksanaan green building sudah mulai diterapkan di berbagai institusi pendidikan,salah satunya penerapan konservasi air pada Gedung C Universitas Trisakti sebagaiupaya mewujudkan konsep green building. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuiperolehan nilai konservasi dan upaya konservasi air yang akan diterapkan di GedungC FTSP Universitas Trisakti. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitumetode pendekatan deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan berupaobservasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisa dandiolah berdasarkan Green Building Existing versi 1.1 kategori konservasi air (WAC).Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil bahwa berdasarkan Greenship Existing Building,Gedung C Universitas Trisakti belum menerapkan kriteria konservasi air yang adadengan baik. Untuk meningkatkan penilaian konservasi air, perlu adanya upaya yangdilakukan seperti menerapkan sistem daur ulang air limbah, memakai sistem air minumfiltrasi, dan menggunakan fitur keran auto stop yang dapat menghemat air hingga 70%dari keran manual.
T he scarcity of clean water is caused by people who have not been able to use watermaximally and adequately. If this is not addressed immediately, it will cause a clean water crisis that occurs continuously. Applying the concept of green building is one of the efforts to meet the availability of clean water. Along with the development of technology and information, the implementation of green building has begun to be applied in variouseducational institutions, one of which is the application of water conservation in BuildingC, Trisakti University to realize the concept of green building. This study aims to determine the value of conservation and water convergence efforts that will be applied in Building C FTSP Trisakti University. The method used in this study is a descriptive approach method. Data collection methods were conducted in the form of observations, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed and processed based on Green Building Existing version 1.1 of the water conservation category (WAC). This study obtained the results that based on Greenship Existing Building, Trisakti University Building C has not applied the existing water conservation criteria well. To improve water conservation, efforts are needed, such as implementing a wastewater recycling system, a filtration drinking water system, and an auto stop tap feature that can save water up to 70% from a manual tap.
