Usulan perbaikan warehouse menggunakan pendekatan lean untuk mengeliminasi pemborosan di Warehouse Utama PT. XYZ
P PT. XYZ menyediakan sebuah platform digital e-groceries berbasis multi-channel untuk kegiatan belanja kebutuhan harian secara online dengan nama Pasarnow. Warehouse atau gudang merupakan salah satu elemen penting yang menunjang kegiatan operasional suatu industri jasa e-commerce, salah satunya pada bisnis e-groceries yang berfungsi sebagai tempat penyimpanan barang yang dijual yang berperan dalam menjaga kualitas produk sebelum dikirim ke konsumen. Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara secara langsung pada karyawan Warehouse Utama, belum terlaksananya aktivitas pergudangan yang optimal dianggap sebagai salah satu penyebab timbulnya pemborosan (waste) pada kegiatan operasionalnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta mengidentifikasi pemborosan (waste) pada aktivitas pergudangan di Warehouse Utama. Agar pemborosan yang terjadi dapat dielimasi, diperlukan penerapan pendekatan Lean Warehouse pada aktivitas pergudangannya. Penelitian diawali dengan pemetaan Current State Value Mapping dengan nilai PCE sebesar 47,94%. Pemetaan Process Activity Mapping menghasilkan 8 aktivitas Value Added, 7 aktivitas Non Value Added dan 24 aktivitas Necessary Non Value Added serta diidentifikasi jenis pemborosan Excessive Transportation sebanyak 1 aktivitas, Unnecessary Inventory dan Unnecessary Motion/Movement masing-masing sebanyak 3 aktivitas, Waiting sebanyak 8 aktivitas, Over Production dengan 3 aktivitas, Defects sebanyak 14 aktivitas, serta Underutilized People sebanyak 7 aktivitas. Kuesioner TIM U WOOD Assessment akan menentukan peringkat jenis pemborosan berdasarkan tingkat keseringan terjadinya pemborosan. Adapun 2 usulan perbaikan yang diberikan yaitu penggunaan kode barcode sebagai salah satu bentuk implementasi WMS secara optimal serta pemberian papan nama produk di tiap keranjang pada proses shopping. Hasil dari usulan perbaikan yang dilakukan memberikan hasil penurunan jumlah aktivitas pada jenis pemborosan Excessive Transportation menjadi tidak ada, Unnecessary Inventory 1 aktivitas, Unnecessary Motion/Movement 2 aktivitas, Waiting 4 aktivitas, Over Production 2 aktivitas, Defects 7 aktivitas, serta Underutilized People 4 aktivitas. Pada pemetaan Future State Value Stream Mapping terjadi kenaikan PCE sebesar 5,22% menjadi 53,16%.
P PT. XYZ provides a multi-channel e-groceries digital platform for online daily shopping activities called Pasarnow. Warehouse is one of the important elements that support the operational activities of an e-commerce service industry, one of which is in the e-groceries business which serves as a storage place for goods sold that play a role in maintaining the quality of products before being sent to consumers. Based on observations and interviews directly with employees at the Main Warehouse, the optimal warehousing activities that has not been implemented is considered one of the causes of waste in its operational activities. This research aims to find out and identify waste in warehousing activities in the Main Warehouse so that the waste that occurs can be investigated, the implementation of the Lean Warehouse approach is needed in its warehousing activities. The research began with current state value mapping with a PCE value of 47.94%. Process Activity Mapping mapping produces 8 Value-Added activities, 7 Non-Value Added activities and 24 Necessary Non-Value Added activities and identified 1 activity as the type of Excessive Transportation waste, 3 activities for each of Unnecessary Inventory and Unnecessary Motion / Movement, 8 activities of Waiting, 3 activities of Over Production, 14 activities of Defects, and 7 activities of Underutilized People. Furthermore, the TIM U WOOD Assessment Questionnaire will determine the ranking of the type of waste based on the level of excitement of waste. The 2 improvement proposals given are the use of barcode codes as a form of optimal implementation of WMS and the provision of product nameplates in each basket in the shopping process. The results of the proposed improvements carried out gave the result of reducing the number of activities in the type of excessive transportation waste to none, Unnecessary Inventory 1 activity, Unnecessary Motion / Movement 2 activities, Waiting 4 activities, Over Production 2 activities, Defects 8 activities, and Underutilized People 4 activities. In the Future State Value Stream Mapping mapping, there was an increase in PCE value by 5.22% to 53.16%.
