M Menghadapi persaingan industri yang semakin ketat, perusahaan penghasil produkkemasan plastik berusaha meningkatkan daya saingnya dengan meningkatkanperformansinya. Performansi perusahaan penghasil produk kemasan plastik dalamhal peningkatan value ke customer dapat diukur melalui key performanceindicators bagian quality assurance. Pencapaian key performance indicatorsquality assurance perlu dibuat sebuah model yang tepat untuk meningkatkan keyperformance indicators quality assurance melalui pendekatan lean manufacturingPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model lean manufacturing untukpencapaian key performance indicators quality assurance. Tahapan awal dimulaidari studi literatur lean manufacturing tools dan survei ke berbagai perusahaankemasan plastik sehingga diperoleh data yang dibutuhkan dalam rancanganmodel. Rancangan model harus dilakukan validasi pada perusahaan penghasilproduk kemasan plastik. Setiap model memberikan manfaat dan dapat digunakanuntuk memecahkan masalah mengenai tidak tercapainya key performanceindicators quality assurance. Hasil rancangan model terdiri dari sub model 1(current key performance indicators quality assurance), sub model 2 (current defectcustomer complaint), sub model 3 (lean manufacturing tools ) dan sub model 4 (futuretotal complaint, future reject retur, future repeat issue, future resolution time dan futurekey performance indicators quality assurance). Diharapkan rancangan model leanmanufacturing dapat menjadi solusi bagi perusahaan penghasil produk kemasanplastik untuk pencapaian key performance indicators quality assurance.

F Facing increasingly fierce industry competition, companies that produce plasticpackaging products try to improve their competitiveness by increasing theirperformance. The performance of companies producing plastic packagingproducts in terms of increasing value to customers can be measured through thekey performance indicators of the quality assurance section. Achievement of keyperformance indicators of quality assurance needs to be made an appropriatemodel to improve key performance indicators of quality assurance through a leanmanufacturing approach. This study aims to design a lean manufacturing modelto achieve key performance indicators of quality assurance. The initial stagestarts from the study of lean manufacturing tools literature and surveys to variousplastic packaging companies in order to obtain the data needed in the design ofthe model. The design of the model must be validated at the companies producingplastic packaging products. Each model provides benefits and can be used tosolve problems regarding not achieving key performance indicators of qualityassurance. The results of the model design consist of sub model 1 (current keyperformance indicators quality assurance), sub model 2 (current defect customercomplaints), sub model 3 (lean manufacturing tools) and sub model 4 (future totalcomplaints, future reject returns, future repeat issue, future resolution time andfuture key performance indicators quality assurance). It is hoped that the designof lean manufacturing models can be a solution for companies producing plasticpackaging products to achieve key performance indicators of quality assurance.
