T The main problem of this research is the influence of firm size and ownership characteristic to stock price. The method used in this thesis is the double regression models. This research is a replication of the dyl et al, research whic analysed 36 companies in Jakarta Stock Exchange. The findings of the research are: the test result simultaneoustly shows that the firm size and ownership characteristic are proven to be positively significant and influences closing price. The test result individually shows that firm size has a positive significant influence to the closing price, the ownership characteristic has a negative significant influence to the closing price. Because of the economy crisis in Indonesia, besides internal factorcs (firm size and ownership characteristic), the external factor like makro economy. (Inflation, interest rate, exchange rate) greatly influences the movement of the selling price. It Is reflected from the amount of coefficient R2 produced from the double regression model in the amount of 23,4%. The previous result of the research, The coefcient R2 is 48,40%.
