Perancangan ulang tata letak pabrik dengan pendekatan relationship diagram (rd) dan graph based constraction method (gbcm) pada PT. Korma Jaya Utama
P PT. Korma Jaya Utama saat ini menerapkan jenis tata letak produk pada lantaiproduksi. PT. Korma Jaya Utama memiliki keinginan untuk memindahkan lokasipabrik, dikarenakan lokasi pabrik saat ini membawa dampak negatif terhadaplingkungan, upah yang tinggi dan seiring dengan peningkatan permintaan produk,PT. Korma Jaya Utama juga ingin meningkatkan kapasitas produksinya. Tujuandari penelitian ini yaitu merancang tata letak baru dilokasi baru yang lebih baik.Pertama-tama melakukan perhitungan luas lantai produksi sebesar 569 m2.Kemudian perhitungan luas lantai gudang bahan baku sebesar 177,21 m2 , gudangbahan pembantu 149,09 m2 dan gudang barang jadi 140,43 m2. Kemudian tataletak awal dievaluasi dengan menggunakan Material Handling Evaluation Sheet(MHES) dan menghasilkan biaya material handling sebesar Rp10,071,735.Langkah awal dalam merancang ulang tata letak dilokasi yang baru yaitumemperhitungakan biaya material handling planning sheet (MHPS) denganmenghasikan biaya sebesar Rp8,217,546. Perancangan ulang tata letakmenggunakan metode Relationship Diagram (RD) dan dievaluasi menggunakanMaterial Handling Evaluation Sheet (MHES) menghasilkan biaya sebesarRp6,868,673, sedangkan pada metode Graph Based Construction Method(GBCM) dievaluasi menggunakan Material Handling Evaluation Sheet (MHES)menghasilkan biaya sebesar Rp7,013,938. usulan pada metode RelationshipDiagram (RD) mengalami penurunan biaya dari layout awal sebesar 32% danmetode Graph Based Construction Method (GBCM) mengalami penurunan biayasebesar 30%. Dari hasil persenan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa usulan yangterpilih adalah pada metode Relationship Diagram (RD) dikarenakan biayapenurunannya lebih besar dibandingkan dengan metode Graph BasedConstruction Method (GBCM).

Korma Jaya Utama has a desire to move the factorylocation because the current factory location has a negative impact on theenvironment and has high wages. In line with the increase in product demand, PT.Korma Jaya Utama also wants to increase its production capacity. The purpose ofthis research is to design a new layout in a new, better location. First of all,calculate the production floor area of 569 m2. Then the calculation of the floorarea of the raw material warehouse is 177.21 m2, the supporting materialwarehouse is 149.09 m2, and the finished goods warehouse is 140.43 m2. The proposal for the Relationship Diagram (RD) method hasdecreased costs from the initial layout by 32%, and the Graph BasedConstruction Method (GBCM) has decreased costs by 30%. From the results ofthe percentage, it can be concluded that the proposal that was chosen was theRelationship Diagram (RD) method because the reduction costs were greater thanthe Graph Based Construction Method (GBCM)
