Usulan tata letak lantai produksi dengan metode systematic layout planning dan algoritma craft di lini menara transmisi PT. Wika Industri dan Konstruksi
P PT. WIKA Industri dan Konstruksi merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri konstruksi dan fabrikasi baja, salah satunya dalam pembuatan menara transmisi. Pada lini menara transmisi PT. WIKA Industri dan Konstruksi ini memiliki masalah dalam tata letak lantai produksinya, yaitu terdapat aliran material yang backtracking dan terdapatnya jarak yang jauh antar stasiun kerja, sehingga mengakibatkan besarnya ongkos material handling yang dikeluarkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung biaya material handling layout awal dan mendapatkan rancangan layout perbaikan untuk meminimasi biaya material handling. Metode yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan alternatif layout adalah metode Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) yang diperbaiki dengan metode CRAFT. Hasil analisa layout awal menunjukkan bahwa momen perpindahan per bulannya 129354 m, jumlah aliran backtracking terdapat sebanyak 245 kali, biaya material handling per bulannya Rp 44.675.060 dan nilai kedekatan antar departemen dengan adjacency based scoring sebesar 675. Alternatif layout terpilih yang dihasilkan metode SLP memberikan perbaikan momen perpindahan, yaitu per bulannya adalah 84215 m, jumlah aliran backtracking berkurang menjadi 169 kali, biaya material handling per bulannya adalah sebesar Rp 38.282.572 dan nilai kedekatan antar departemen dengan adjacency based scoring sebesar 2205. Sedangkan perbaikan layout menggunakan metode CRAFT dengan bantuan software WinQSB 2.0 memberikan hasil momen perpindahan sebesar 82359 m, jumlah aliran backtracking berkurang menjadi 156 kali, biaya material handling yang didapatkan sebesar Rp 37.993.622 per bulan dan nilai kedekatan antar departemen dengan adjacency based scoring sebesar 2455. Dari hasil tersebut dapat ditentukan layout terbaik adalah hasil perbaikan dengan CRAFT, karena memberikan pengurangan ongkos material handling terbesar yaitu Rp 6.681.438 dengan persentase penurunan biaya material handling sebesar 15% dan nilai adjacency based scoring sebesar 2455 dengan persentase kenaikan nilai kedekatan antar departemen sebesar 40.23% dibanding layout awal.

WIKA Industrial and Construction has a problem in their production layout of the transmition tower line, such as backtracking material flow and great distance between work stations leading to massive material handling cost incurred. The purpose of this research is to calculate the cost of initial material handling layouts and to obtain a better layout planning to minimize material handling costs. The method used to obtain alternative layout is Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method which was improved by the CRAFT method. The results of the initial layout analysis showed that the moment of displacement per month was 129354 m, the number of backtracking flows was 245 times, the material handling costs per month were Rp 44.675.060 and the value of closeness between departments with adjacency based scoring is 675. The chosen alternative layout produced by the SLP method provides an improvement is 84215 m per month, the amount of backtracking flow is reduced to 169 times, the material handling cost per month is Rp. 38.282.572 and the value of closeness between departments with adjacency based scoring is 2205. Meanwhile, improvement layout by using the CRAFT method with the help of WinQSB 2.0 software shows result that the displacement moment is 82359 m, the amount of backtracking flow is reduced to 156 times, the material handling costs were Rp.37.993.622 per month and the value of closeness between departments with adjacency based scoring is 2455. From the results above, it can be determined that the chosen layout is the improvement layout using CRAFT, because it provides the largest reduction in material handling costs that is Rp. 6.681.438 with 15% reduction in material handling cost and the value of adjacency based scoring is 2455 with 40.23% increase in the value of closeness between departments compared to the initial layout
