Analisis lintasan pemboran berarah lubang 12¼" pada sumur "x" lapangan '"z" di Jawa Timur
S Sumur “X†adalah sumur pengembangan yang dibor dengan menggunakan metoda pemboran berarah. Sumur “X†berada di Lapangan “Zâ€, yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Rengel, Kabupaten Tuban, Propinsi Jawa Timur. Reservoir sumur “X†terdapat pada Formasi Tuban. Sumur “X†dibor hingga kedalaman 9552,34 ft MD / 6395,71 ft TVD dengan menggunakan lintasan “J†type atau slant type (Build and Hold). Pada saat operasi pemboran sumur “X†sudah berlangsung, terjadi kesalahan penerimaan data yang di dapat dan pemboran sudah dilakukan 48’ penetrasi lebih dalam dari prognosa yang sudah direncanakan, tetapi sumur belum menemukan Tuban Carbonate, sehingga formasi tersebut tidak menemui target reservoir yang dituju. Rangkaian BHA di tarik kembali ke permukaan dan sumur dilakukan cement plug hingga kedalaman dimana lintasan side track akan dilaksanakan yaitu pada kedalaman 4150 ft MD / 3251,14 ft TVD, dengan perubahan lintasan “J†type atau slant type (Build and Hold) menjadi lintasan “S†type (Build Hold and Drop). Dalam penelitian ini, penyebab terjadinya penyimpangan akan dianalisa dan dibandingkan hasil perhitungan antara plan dan aktualnya dengan menggunakan perhitungan metode Minimum Of Curvature. Penyimpangan tersebut terjadi karena susunan BHA yang kurang tepat, drilling parameter, atau faktor geologis.
