Kronostratigrafi Oligosen - Miosen berdasarkan Nanofosil Gampingan di Daerah Tuban, Cekungan Jawa Timur Utara
1 25 sampel batuan yang berasal dari 2 sumur “SR-1†dan “SR-2†dianalisis untuk menyusun kronostratigrafi berdasarkan nanofosil gampingan di daerah Tuban, Cekungan Jawa Timur Utara. Kedua sumur tersebut berada di Zona Rembang pada Formasi Kujung dan Formasi Ngimbang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan datum seperti Sphenolithus distentus dan Sphenolithus ciperoensis di sumur “SR-1â€. Kemudian pada sumur “SR-2†ditemukan fosil indeks seperti Sphenolithus distentus, Sphenolithus ciperoensis, Triquetrorhabdulus carinatus, Sphenolithus belemnos dan Sphenolithus heteromorphus. Pada penelitian ini berhasil dikenali sejumlah zonasi, yaitu dengan menggunakan Zonasi Martini (1971) sumur “SR-1†termasuk kedalam umur NP23-NP24 dan sumur “SR-2†termasuk umur NP23-NN4. Ketidakselarasan pada penelitian ini terdapat pada sumur “SR-2â€, dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa adanya ketidakselarasan karena adanya umur yang hilang yaitu NN2 dan NN1 yang disebabkan oleh peristiwa tektonik pada umur Oligosen Akhir – Miosen Awal dimana terjadi adanya pengangkatan pada cekungan dan konvergensi Lempeng. Kronostratigrafi dimulai dari umur NP23 hingga NP25 dimana perubahan muka air laut meningkat. Lalu, terjadi ketidakselarasan pada umur NN1-NN2, dan terjadi pengendapan kembali pada umur NN3-NN4.
1 25 rock samples from 2 wells \"SR-1\" and \"SR-2\" were analyzed to construct the chronostratigraphy based on calcareous nannofossil in the Tuban area, North East Java basin. The two wells are located in the Rembang Zone in the Kujung Formation and Ngimbang Formation. This research uses quantitative methods. In this research, datums such as Sphenolithus disstens and Sphenolithus ciperoensis were found in the \"SR-1\" well. Then in the \"SR-2\" well, index fossils were found such as Sphenolithus disstentus, Sphenolithus ciperoensis, Triquetrorhabdulus carinatus, Sphenolithus belemnos and Sphenolithus heteromorphus. In this research, a number of zonings were successfully identified, namely by using Martini Zoning (1971), the \"SR-1\" well was included in the age NP23-NP24 and the \"SR-2\" well was included in the age NP23-NN4. The unconformity in this study is found in the \"SR-2\" well, it can be interpreted that the unconformity is due to the missing ages, namely NN2 and NN1, which were caused by tectonic events at the Late Oligocene - Early Miocene age where there was uplift in the basin and plate convergence. The chronostratigraphy starts from NP23 to NP25 where sea level changes increased. Then, unconformity occurred at age NN1-NN2, and deposition occurred again at age NN3-NN4.
