Hubungan Kebisingan dan suhu ruangan dengan konsentrasi belajar siswa SMP
L LATAR BELAKANGKonsentrasi merupakan upaya pemusatan perhatian atau pikiran pada satu hal. Kebisingan dapat menimbulkan berbagai macam gangguan seperti gangguan fisiologis, psikologis, dan komunikasi. Perasaan tidak nyaman, kurang konsentrasi, sulit tidur, dan mudah gusar merupakan bentuk dari gangguan psikologis sebagai akibat dari kebisingan. Kondisi kelas seperti suhu ruangan dapat menjadi faktor yang memengaruhi konsentrasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai hubungan antara kebisingan dan suhu ruangan dengan konsentrasi belajar siswa SMP.METODEPenelitian dilakukan dengan desain cross-sectional. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa/i SMP Islam Al-Azhar 16 Cikarang dan pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling sebanyak 94 responden. Pengukuran kebisingan dengan aplikasi Sound Meter dari Smart Tools co. versi 1.7.9 dan suhu ruangan dengan aplikasi Indoor, Outdoor Room Temperature Thermometer App dari Next Level Technology Inc., serta tes kemampuan konsentrasi menggunakan Grid Concentration Test. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat dengan uji korelasi Spearman dengan p signifikan < 0,05.HASILBerdasarkan hasil tes konsentrasi terdapat 14 orang (14,9%) dengan kategori konsentrasi sangat kurang, diikuti dengan kategori terbanyak yaitu konsentrasi kurang sebanyak 36 orang (38,3%), kemudian 31 orang (33,0%) masuk ke dalam kategori konsentrasi cukup, lalu sebanyak 10 orang (10,6%) masuk kategori baik dan hanya 3 orang (3,2%) yang masuk kedalam kategori sangat baik. Tidak terdapat korelasi antara kebisingan dan suhu ruangan dengan kosentrasi belajar (p = 0,058 dan p = 0,054).KESIMPULANTidak terdapat korelasi antara kebisingan dan suhu ruangan dengan konsentrasi belajar siswa SMP
B BACKGROUNDConcentration is an effort to focus attention or thoughts on one thing. Noise can cause various kinds of disturbances such as physiological, psychological, and communication disorders. Feelings of discomfort, lack of concentration, difficulty sleeping, and irritability are forms of psychological disorders as a result of noise. Class conditions such as room temperature can be a factor that affects learning concentration. This study aims to assess the relationship between noise and room temperature with the learning concentration of junior high school students.METHODThe study was conducted with a cross-sectional design. The research subjects were students of SMP Islam Al-Azhar 16 Cikarang and the sample selection used a simple random sampling technique of 94 respondents. Noise measurement with the Sound Meter app from Smart Tools co. version 1.7.9 and room temperature with the Indoor application, the Outdoor Room Temperature Thermometer App from Next Level Technology Inc., as well as a concentration ability test using the Grid Concentration Test. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate with Spearman correlation test with significant p < 0,05.RESULTSBased on the results of the concentration test, there were 14 people (14.9%) with a very poor concentration category, followed by the highest category, namely low concentration as many as 36 people (38.3%), then 31 people (33.0%) into the concentration category enough, then as many as 10 people (10.6%) were in the good category and only 3 people (3.2%) were in the very good category. There is no correlation between noise and room temperature with learning concentration (p = 0,058 and p = 0,054).CONCLUSIONThere is no correlation between noise and room temperature with the learning concentration of junior high school students.
