I In Indonesia, no music museum has yet to be established for any legendaryIndonesian musicians who have significantly contributed in the development ofthe music industry. One of them is the Koes Plus band. People in general knowvery little about the history of this group. Their achievements and hard worksshould be put in the museum displays. The design and planning for Koes PlusMuseum’s Interior are intended to provide sufficient information to the people,both systematically and informatively, as well as to make Koes Plus Museum notonly as an educative one, but also as an inspiring, innovative, and entertainingmuseum.As the struggle of Koes Plus began in their hometown, Tuban, East Java,then it should be appropriate if the planning of such museum is set out andlocated in the city. In order to meet the objectives mentioned above, the design ofKoes Plus Museum’s interior should apply the cutting-edge technology in anyaspects, including design, security, standardization and museum systemation, aswell as its technology. The overall concept of the museum uses Post-Modern style,with the theme of Access to the Past, and with image of Dynamic Motion. In orderto provide access to visitors so that they can see through the past, Koes PlusMuseum’s design utilizes the most sophisticated technology, such as touchcounter, video mapping, digital infographic, and hologram concert. The imagesthat are used, should follow the dynamic personality of Koes Plus and their songswhich always move the listeners. By applying the overall concept in designing themuseum, it is expected that we would be able to make Koes Plus Museum differentthan any other museums and with its own attractions.
