P Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi profitabilitas perusahaan sektor agricultural yang terdaftar di bursa efek indonesia (bei). profitabilitas merupakan indikator penting dalam menilai kinerja keuangan suatu perusahaan, khususnya di tengah ketidakpastian ekonomi global dan tantangan sektor pertanian akibat damapak perubahan iklim. variabel independen meliputi revenue growth rate, financial leverage, company size, current ratio dan gross domestic product (gdp), sedangkan variabel dependen yaitu profitabilitas diukur dengan return on assets (roa). metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel terhadap 29 perusahaan agricultural selama periode 2020-2024. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa revenue growth rate dan gdp berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas, sedangkan financial leverage dan company size berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. adapun current ratio tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. temuan ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi investor dan perusahaan dalam pengambilan keputusan strategis dengan mempertimbangkan faktor seperti revenue growth rate, financial leverage, company size, current ratio dan gross domestic product (gdp) untuk meningkatkan profitabilitas di sektor pertanian.
T This study conducted to analyze the factors that influence the profitability of agricultural sector companies listed on the indonesia stock exchange (idx). profitability is an important indicator in assessing a company\\\'s financial performance, especially amidst global economic uncertainty and challenges in the agricultural sector due to the impact of climate change. independent variables include revenue growth rate, financial leverage, company size, current ratio and gross domestic product (gdp), while the dependent variable, namely profitability, is measured by return on assets (roa). the analysis method used is panel data regression on 29 agricultural companies during the 2020-2024 period. the results of the study show that revenue growth rate and gdp have a positive and significant effect on profitability, while financial leverage and company size have a negative and significant effect on profitability. the current ratio does not have a significant effect on profitability. these findings provide important implications for investors and companies in making strategic decisions by considering factors such as revenue growth rate, financial leverage, company size, current ratio and gross domestic product (gdp) to increase profitability in the agricultural sector.
