F armers when doing work are certainly exposed to various risk factors in the workplace that can cause health problems or accidents due to work. One example of work-related diseases that often arise is musculoskeletal complaints. The occurrence of musculoskeletal complaints can also be caused because workers make repetitive movements and the attitude of work performed is not in accordance with the ergonomic position.Musculoskeletal complaints can affect the occurrence of decreased productivity in work, work performance, quality of work, and concentration while working which indirectly can increase the risk of work accidents. Due to many factors of musculoskeletal complaints depending on the attitude of the body while working and there are still pros and cons about the relationship between ergonomic factors, smoking habits and gender with musculoskeletal complaints, researchers want to conduct research on this to farmers in Bali.MethodObservational analytics study research with cross sectional method with the number of respondents as many as 128 farmers selected in the inclusion criteria. The research tested gender, smoking habits, risk levels with musculoskeletal complaints. Data collection was conducted by interview, for smoking habits using brinkman index questionnaire, to find out the complaints felt using Nordic Body Map questionnaire, while for ergonomic risk level using Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA). The data that has been collected is then analyzed through spss (Statistical Package for the Social Scine)ResultResult Obtained results in the research with the highest age category age 46-55 (34.7%) , gender dominated by the male gender that is as much as 99 ( 77.3%) , smoking habits throughout the category experienced complaints but which paing widely found in respondents who do not smoke 39 (87.2%) , ergonomic risk level with a high category many musculoskeletal complaints ( 84.8 %) . And from the data obtained and analyzed data using SPSS, gender results obtained by (p=0.010), smoking habits (p=0.014), and ergonomic risk level (0.016)CONCLUSIONThe study showed that there was a link between sex, smoking habits - the level of risk associated with musculoscletal complaints in farmers
