Kemudian ditentukan karakterisasi reservoir dari lapisan A dan B. Lapisan A nilairata-rata porositas total 19,5 %, porositas efektif 15,6 %, permeabiltias 81,44 mD,saturasi air 0,75, kandungan Vshale 19,8 %, kualitas reservoir cukup – baik.Dengan fasies distributary channel lingkungan pengendapan delta plain. LapisanB nilai rata-rata porositas total 19,9 %, porositas efektif 17,3 %, permeabilitas121,13 mD, kualitas reservoir baik – baik sekali. Dengan fasies tidal distributarychannel – tidal distributary channel lingkungan pengendapan delta plain.
T he oil and gas sector plays a very important role, especially in Indonesia.Central Sumatra Basin, more precisely, the Aman Sub-basin is a hydrocarbonproducing basin with a reservoir from the Sihapas group, the Bekasap Formation isa member. Therefore, reservoir characterization was carried out in the "RM"research area to describe the geological processes formed and the distribution ofphysical properties. Qualitative and quantitative analysis were carried out, qualitative analysis included determination of lithology from well logs, determination of reservoir zones, determination of system tracts andchronostratigraphic fields as markers, facies analysis using electrofacies.Quantitative analysis in the form of petrophysical analysis includes the calculationof reservoir property values, making isoporosity and isopermeability maps todetermine the distribution of physical properties. Then the reservoircharacterization is determined from layers A and B. Layer A average value of totalporosity is 19,5%, effective porosity is 15,6%, permeability is 81,44 mD, watersaturation is 0,75, Vshale content is 19,8%, reservoir quality is quite - good. Withdistributary channel facies, delta plain depositional environment. Layer B averagevalue of total porosity is 19,9%, effective porosity is 17,3%, permeability is 121,13mD, reservoir quality is very good. With a tidal distributary channel – tidaldistributary facies, the depositional environment is delta plain
