Analisis kinerja simpang bersinyal Setia Darma 2 - Inspeksi Kalimalang, Bekasi
T he development of the city of Bekasi also has the impact of very rapid changes in various urban systems, including the transportation system. The high growth of private vehicles can cause congestion, one of which is at the Setia Darma 2 Intersection - Kalimalang Inspection which often occurs during rush hour delays. This area is included in a dense area because it is a center for trade, offices and education. The purpose of the study was to analyze the performance of the service level of the Jalan Setia Darma 2 - Kalimalang intersection through the evaluation of the performance of the signalized intersection by referring to the 1997 MKJI standard which then obtained data on the intersection cycle time, capacity, degree of saturation, queued vehicles, delays and can be seen the service level index intersection as a parameter to assess the performance of signalized intersections. Based on the results of the analysis carried out at the existing intersection, it was found that the service level of the intersection was at level F (density flow, low speed, often choked) because the overall degree of saturation (Ds) was more than 1. After re-analysis by widening the approach arms, then The degrees of saturation of the North, South, East and West approaches are 0.87, 0.54, 0.50 and 0.79, respectively, so that the service level is obtained D.
