S tudi analisis kesesuaian geologi dalam perencanaan wilayah inidilakukan untuk mengkaji dan menentuan rekomendasi kawasan terhadappemanfaatan wilayah pada daerah Samigaluh dan sekitarnya Provinsi D.IYogyakarta. Data yang digunakan dalam analisis ini dilakukan denganpengamatan langsung di lapangan dan didasari oleh beberapa peta, diantaranyaPeta Topografi, Peta Geologi, Peta Cekungan Air Tanah, Peta Gempa bumi, PetaGunungapi, Peta Gerakan Tanah, serta laporan geologi terkait mengenai analisisdaerah penelitian menjadi beberapa analisis Peta Satuan Lahan (SKL) yang akanmendapatkan hasil akhir berupa peta peruntukan kawasan SKLK. Yang dibagimenjadi satuan unit kawasan sangat berpotensi sebagai kawasan budidaya danresapan air tanah, satuan unit berpotensi sebagai kawasan penyangga dancadangan pada daerah sekitar sungai dan satuan unit tidak berpotensi sebagaikawasan konservasi airtanah. Pada kawasan dalam perutukan SKLK ini gunamerekomendasi peningkatan dan pencegahan yang dimana untukmemaksimalkan pemanfaatan kawasan sekitar dan memberikan perlindunganpada daerah rawan bencana.
T he study analyzes the suitability of the geology in the area planning done onSamigaluh and the surrounding area, the province of D.I. Yogyakarta. This study aimedto assess and determine areas recommendation on the utilization of the region andsurrounding areas Samigaluh. The data used in this analysis is done by directobservation in the field and based on several maps, among them are topographic maps,Geological map, Map Basin Groundwater, Map Earthquake, Map Volcano, Map LandMovement, as well as geological report related to the analysis of the study area intoseveral Land Unit map analysis (SKL) .Does weighting based on the maps associatedwith the highest weighting grades 5 and the lowest one, while the map used in theresearch area, there are 4 of them are maps map Capability SKL, SKL Slope map, mapSKL Ease Work , Map SKL Water System. That where each unit has the potential andconstraints. And there is a disaster analysis are divided into map of Volcanic Disastersand Disaster Earthquake .That map each map has a risk of disaster on each unit. Thecombined results of these maps resulted Map Unit Land Area (SKLK) which providesrecommendations on each unit is divided into units of potential as a cultivated area andgroundwater recharge, the unit could potentially designated as an area of reserve orbuffer at about the river and the unit not potentially be used as a conservation areagroundwater and springs. The end result of this SKLK map-making in order torecommend improvements and prevention in order to maximize the utilization of theregion and provide protection in disaster prone areas and minimalisize possibilities thatwill be damaging to the environment
