Aceh adalah salah satu penghasil kopi terbaik di wiklayah Indoensia, yang memiliki begitu banyak tanaman dari 81.000 ha di seluruh tanah Gayo, Aceh. Hal ini yang menjadikan Aceh merupakan kota kopi dan cara bagaimana cara mereka minum kopi. Sering, orang yang tidak mengerti latar belakang proses cocoa yang diproses dari kopi murni .Masyarakat Aceh mengerti dan memahami bahwa mereka adalah daerah kopi dan ingin memiliki Museum kopi sebagai tempat pembelajaran bagi masyarakat lokal maupun turis asing
O One of the sub-sectors that has a natural resource-based is the plantation subsector.One of the leading commodities in the plantation sub-sector is coffee. Acehis one of the best coffee production regions in Indonesia with the largestplantation areas of 81,000 hectares in upland areas of Gayo, Aceh. This makesAceh is synonymous with coffee. The people of Aceh is unique as in the way theyprocess coffee and in the way they drink coffee. Very often, many people do notunderstand the background and the long process ofhow the beanof cocoa isprocessed into the real coffee in the cups. Therefore, the facilities such as amuseum is needed to provide information about the uniqueness of Acehnesecoffee. The local people need to understand and recognize the Acehnese coffee asa commodity that can be introduced nationally and internationally and as amuseum that can be used as a place to educate local people and tourists about theuniqueness of Acehnese coffee. As the time goes, many museums of the same typesas cigarettes, herbs, and chocolates have been built but theCoffee Museum merelydisplays passive, conventional, and less interactive information. The conceptdesign of Coffee Museum will cover the theme \"Sense the Process of AcehneseCoffee.\" This theme is applied through the permanent exhibition areas where theinformation is provided in terms of how the process of coffee from the plantationup into a drink on the table. The implementation of spatial planning has asequence according to the concept by using interactive technology combined withattractive colors of coffee based on Acehnese tradition. The style of post modernarchitecture is adapted to the shape of the building, where as the interior designof the Coffee Museum provides information in an interactive way in order
