L Latar Belakang : Teledentistry dapat didefinisikan sebagai penyediaan perawatan gigi seperti membuat diagnosis, memberikan konsultasi, dan mengusulkan rencana perawatan jarak jauh melalui media teknologi informasi. Pemerintah Indonesia telah mengeluarkan petunjuk teknis pelayanan kesehatan gigi dan mulut di fasilitas kesehatan tingkat pertama dengan pemanfaatan Teledentistry. Pengetahuan pegawai puskesmas di fasilitas kesehatan tingkat pertama tentang pemanfaatan Teledentistry sangat penting. Tujuan : untuk melihat adakah pengaruh edukasi tentang Teledentistry terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan pegawai puskesmas di Puskesmas Cipanas Kabupaten Garut. Metode : Studi kuasi eksperimental ini melibatkan 44 pegawai puskesmas Cipanas Kabupaten Garut. Kuesioner terdiri dari 15 item yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Responden mengerjakan pre test sebelum mendapatkan materi mengenai Teledentistry dalam bentuk power point text. Setelah mendapatkan materi, responden mengerjakan soal post test. Uji Paired Sample T-Test dilakukan untuk melihat perbedaan nilai pre test dan post test. Hasil : Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara rata-rata nilai pre test sebesar 7,5 dan post test sebesar 12,27 (p= 0,000) . Kesimpulan : Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan pegawai puskesmas Puskesmas Cipanas Kabupaten Garut setelah mendapatkan materi edukasi mengenai Teledentistry.

B Background : Teledentistry can be defined as the provision of dental care such as making a diagnosis, providing consultation, and proposing a treatment plan remotely through the medium of information technology, without any direct contact with the patients involved. The Government of Indonesia has issued technical guidelines for dental and oral health services at first-level health facilities using teledentistry. The knowledge of health workers in first-level health facilities the use of Teledentistry is so essential. Purpose: In order to see whether there are any effect of education about Teledentistry on increasing the knowledge of health workers at the Cipanas Health Center, Garut Regency. Methods: This quasi-experimental study involved 44 employees of the Cipanas Health Center, Garut Regency. The questionnaire consists of 15 items that have been tested for validity and reliability. Respondents took the pre-test before receiving material on Teledentistry in the form of power point text. After getting the material, the respondents worked on the post test questions. A paired sample T-Test was conducted to see the difference in pre-test and post-test scores. Results: There is a significant difference between the average pre-test value of 7.5 and the post-test of 12.27 (p= 0.000). Conclusion: There is an increase in the knowledge of health workers at the Cipanas Health Center in Garut Regency after receiving an educational material about Teledentistry.
