Lingkungan pengendapan berdasarkan data petrografi SWC menunjukkan area reef core – forereef slope.

T The research area or field ”X” is administratively located in Matindok Block, Central Sulawesi. The research consists of seismic data interpretation with mud log and well data used as validation. The well data is comprised of biostratigraphic, bathymetric, lithofacies and depositional environment analysis of X-1, X-2, and X-3 Well. The result of seismic interpretation shows reefal patches and carbonate platform were present along the carbonate bedding of Salodik Group. Bathymetri and biostratigraphical analysis shows benthonics of Marginal Marine – Middle Shelf dating from Late Oligocene to Late Miocene. Lithofacies and depositional environment analysis explains how Salodik Carbonates are made up of reef core coralline boundstone and forereef slope and backreef wackestone – packstone. Compiling the analyses mentioned beforehand, Salodik Group Carbonates are divided into three facies, namely reef core coralline boundstone which has a tendency of being grain-supported, rich in corals, bryozoans and marginal marine benthonics; Forereef slope wackestone – Packstone, which is much more mud-supported and distinguished by the abundant of molluscs, red algae and inner - middle shelf benthonics; back reef wackestone – packstone which is fully determined based on Pomar (2004) carbonates facies depositional models and from the absence of any reefal patch in seismic. As a result, a facies map is created using the mentioned data above. The Salodik Group Carbonates facies map shows a trend of southeast – northeast in depositional direction.
