Pengaruh organizational commitment dan employee engagement terhadap organizational performance yang dimediasi oleh strategic leadership pada sekretariat jenderal dewan ketahanan nasional
T Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa organizationalperformance di Sekretariat Jenderal Dewan Ketahanan Nasional dengan mengamatidan meneliti pengaruh dari organizational commitment dan employee engagemetserta pengaruh mediasi dari strategic leadership. Penelitian ini menguji tujuhhipotesis dengan model persamaan struktural menggunakan Smart PLS. Sampelpenelitian ini adalah 140 orang personel di Setjen Wantannas.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif secaralangsung organizational commitment dan employee engagement terhadaporganizational performance. Penelitian ini juga menghasilkan temuan yang menarikkarena peran strategic leadership tidak berpengaruh positif langsung terhadaporganizational performance dan peran strategic leadership tidak berpengaruh positifjuga dalam memediasi hubungan organizational commitment dan employeeengagement terhadap organizational performance. Variabel mediasi dalam penelitianini turut memberikan pengaruh pada penurunan organizational performance.Hasil dalam penelitian memberikan implikasi teoritis yang memberikanpandangan yang berbeda terhadap penelitian terdahulu. Implikasi manajerial, perluadanya perubahan kebijakan, strategi dan upaya pimpinan dalam bentuk sikap, caradan komitmen pimpinan Setjen Wantannas sebagai kerangka implementasi strategicleadership agar mampu memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan organizationalperformance.
T The purpose of this study is to analyze organizational performance at theSecretariat General of the National Resilience Council (Secretariat GeneralWantannas ) by observing and examining the influence of organizationalcommitment and employee engagement as well as the mediating effect of strategicleadership. This study tested seven hypotheses with a structural equation modelusing Smart PLS. The sample of this research is 140 personnel in the SecretariatGeneral Wantannas.The results of this study indicate that there is a direct positive effect oforganizational commitment and employee engagement on organizationalperformance. This research also produces interesting findings because the role ofstrategic leadership does not have a direct positive effect on organizationalperformance and the role of strategic leadership does not also have a positive effectin mediating the relationship between organizational commitment and employeeengagement on organizational performance. The mediating variable in this studyalso influences the decrease in organizational performance. The mediating variablein this study also influences the decrease in organizational performance.The results in this study provide theoretical implications that provide adifferent view of previous research. Managerial implications, it is necessary tochange policies, strategies and leadership efforts in the form of attitudes, methodsand commitment of the leader of the Secretariat General Wantannas as aframework for implementing strategic leadership so that they are able to contributeto increasing organizational performance.
