E Evaluasi hasil penyemenan primer merupakan serangkaian kegiatan yang perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui hasil penyemenan baik secara kualitatif maupun kuantitatif serta dari hasil evaluasi tersebut dapat di ambil keputusan perlu tidaknya dilakukan remedial cementing. Pada dasarnya, penyemenan dilakukan dengan tujuan memperkuat ikatan casing dengan formasi yang berguna untuk mengisolasi formasi dengan lubang sumur. Namun, tidak selalu penyemenan yang dilakukan bisa sempurna. Ada beberapa masalah yang sering terjadi, seperti channeling dan microannulus. Salah satu cara yang yang efektif untuk mendeteksi hadirnya channel dan microannulus pada semen adalah dengan menggunakan Segmented Bond Tool-Variable Density Log (SBT-VDL) yang merupakan jenis logging akustik dan mampu menganalisa secara kuantitatif maupun kualitatif. Evaluasi penyemenan primer dilakukan pada sumur M-13. Evaluasi hanya dilakukan dari interval kedalaman 165 ft - 1250 ft karena kemiringan sudut pada zona perforasi mencapai 73º sehingga alat SBT-VDL tidak dapat di operasikan. Analisa kualitatif SBT-VDL ditemukan adanya indikasi free pipe, medium cement dan poor cement, sedangkan dari kurvatransite time ditemukan adanya indikasi efek eccentering pada beberapa kedalaman. Analisa kuantitatif SBT bertujuan untuk menentukan bond ratio dan compressive strength setiap kedalaman.
