R Rel merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam transportasi perkeretaapian. Sebagai tempat dimana menjadi tumpuan roda kereta, rel harus dijaga dari segi keamanan serta kondisi fisiknya dikarenakan dapat berdampak pada perjalanan kereta. Banyak faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kondisi rel, sehingga seiring perkembangan zaman engineer terus melakukan treatment untuk mendapatkan solusi yang membuat kondisi rel selalu dalam kondisi yang laik. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui fungsi treatment lubrikasi terhadap rel. Selain itu juga untuk mengetahui efisiensi penggunaan lubrikasi yang pada akhirnya dapat diketahui terkait operasional perawatan rel tersebut. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa lubrikasi dapat menambah umurlayan jalan rel dan dapat menghemat biaya operasional maintenance. Tingkatefisiensi dipengaruhi radius lengkung. Semakin kecil radius lengkung, tingkatefisiensi penggunaan lubrikasi semakin besar.
R Rail is one of the important components in rail transportation. As a place where the wheels of the train are supported, the rail must be maintained in terms of safety and physical condition because it can have an impact on train travel. Many factors can affect the condition of the rails, so that along with the times, engineers continue to carry out treatments to get solutions that make the condition of the rails always in a decent condition. The purpose of the study was to determine the function of the lubrication treatment on the rail. In addition, to determine the efficiency of the use of lubrication which in the end can be known related to the operation of the rail maintenance. The results of the study show that lubrication can increase lifespanrail service and can save operational maintenance costs. Levelefficiency is affected by the radius of curvature. The smaller the bending radius, the higher the the greater the efficiency of the use of lubrication.
