Lokasi industri terletak di jalan Daan Mogot Km. 18 , Kotamadya Tangerang., Banten dengan luas 11 Ha. PT Pelita Cengkareng Paper and Co merupakan industri kertas yang perlu melaukan pengamatan kualitas udara disekitarnya, karena mempunyai proses pembakaran yang menghasilkan gas buang seperti partikulat, CO2, NO2, SO2 dan lain lain teta[i dalam penelitian ini difokuskan pada

P Pelita Cengkareng paper and Co as a paper industry company founded in 9 th Januari 1974 in Jakarta according to the Notarial document from Ridwan Suselo, SH. . The industrial sited Jl. Daan Mogot km 18, Tangerang municipalty , Banten, 11 Ha.Pt Pelita Cengkarenf paper & Co is paper industry which required to make the air quality observation surrounds them, because they save the incineration process which provide the exhaust, such particulate, Co2, No2, So2 etc, vbut this research is focosed on So2 and NO2 onl , because according to Kenneth Wark and Warner Cecil F, this exhaust has an influence towards the employee's health and in high concentrate able to destruct the plants. To predict the air quality in the research site, the Gaussian method was used in calculatiuon using some formulations such as the State formula to find out the wind speed on the chimney height, the Holland formula to find out the spittle height and and he to find out the effective chimney height. By using this Gaussian formula, the concentrate result can be obtained from the three sample point. The measurement's tool was used to measure the SO2 is the impinger gas sampler with the pararosalinin method, while for the NO2 , the measurement's tool was used is the same with the one that was used for the SO2 with the SAltzman method. The measurement result and the calculation will be compared with the Standard Quality according to PP No. 41 year of 1999. From the measurement result found that the highest concentrate is for the SO2 pollutant, which occured tn the morning on the first point is 10, 61 ug/m3 and the lowest concentrate is in the afternoon which occured on the second point is 4, 20 ug/m3, while for the NO2 pollutant, the highest concentrate is in the morning on the first point is 15, 98 ug/m3 and the lowest concentrate is in the afternoon is on the second point is 5, 68 ug/m3. For the highest calculation result for the SO2 pollutant occured in the afternoon onthe third point is 7, 54 ug/m3 and the lowest concentrate is in the morning on the second point is 3, 98 ug/m3 while for the NO2 pollutant the highest concentrate is in the afternoon on the third point is 10, 77 ug/m3 and the lowest concentrate is in the morning is on the second point is 5, 69 ug/m3. The regression resultd is R2 , 0, 8997 for the SO2 and 0, 9892 for the NO2 To find out the air quality category on the research site was implemented based on the Air PollutanStandard Index Calculation (ISPU). The Result which obtained = 51,79 (average). The tools maintenace or unitsa which are related to the chimney waqs implemented properly in order to prevent to looking or the damage.
