Tea (Camelia sinensis) is a beneficial drink for the body as an antioxidant, it is able to decrease blood pressure, increasing bone density, and prevent dental caries. This research is a cross sectional, observational research conducted by the method of distribution of the questionnaires as well as examination of the DMF-T index. The subjects of this research are 53 residents who are above 17 years old from RT 01 and RW 02 that are healthy physically, mentally, and are able to communicate well. The result of this reseach was analyzed by using a quantitative analysis of percentage and Pearson correlation statistical test to determine the correlation of tea culture with the community’s dental health. From the data obtained it is known that the percentage of people who consume tea as much as 85%. The DMF-T results showed that people who did not consume tea have higher caries index compare to they who consumed. The dental caries index is increasing on people who consume tea with sugar. Pearson correlation test showed that there was a very strong connection between tea consumption to dental caries index.
