T Transportation has a very important and strategic role in supporting, encouraging and supporting all aspects of life both in the economic, socio-cultural, political and defense and security fields. Air transportation is becoming increasingly important due to the vast territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia which is separated by vast waters. This research was conducted using the method of collecting literature from journals, the Central Bureau of Statistics for North Mamuju and the applicable regulations regarding the construction of a new airport, as well as quantitative data obtained from PT. The selection of a new airport location requires several basic requirements, namely operational capability, airport facility capacity, development costs, access roads, environmental impact, socio-economic factors, and consistency with regional development. After the best new location plan has been selected, the next process is to select a development concept where the concept of air side facilities, land side and access roads is studied in detail in relation to the selected location. This location is 3.5 km from the Trans-Sulawesi axis road so it is safe for the safety of flight activities and also flight traffic activities. The results of the Obstacle Limitation Surace (OLS) analysis show that the Alternative-3 location is categorized as the safest location from obstacles. 3. Based on the results of the evaluation and technical feasibility assessment of the construction, it shows that the Alternative-3 location is better than the Alternative-1 and Alternative-2 locations. 4. Based on the evaluation of airport location determination from the technical and operational aspects, the results of the final assessment above obtained the values of the three alternatives as below: From alternatives 1, 2, and 3 above the location of Alternative-3 in Batu Oge Village, Pedongga District obtained a value of 241 so Alternative-3 is the best choice.
