Gambaran tingkat kecemasan mahasiswa terhadap tindakan bedah mulut dalam perawatan kedokteran gigi : kajian pada Mahasiswa Program Profesi Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Trisakti Tahun 2018 (laporan penelitian)
L Latar belakang: Kecemasan terhadap perawatan kedokteran gigi sering disebut dengan dental anxiety. Kecemasan tersebut dapat mempengaruhi sikap pasien dalam menerima pelayanan kesehatan gigi, terlebih pada tindakan kedokteran gigi yang invasif, seperti prosedur tindakan bedah mulut. Tujuan: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kecemasan mahasiswa Program Profesi Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Trisakti tahun 2018 terhadap tindakan bedah mulut. Metode: Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2018 sampai dengan Januari 2019. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner MDAS dan IDAF-4C versi Indonesia. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 217 mahasiswa program profesi Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Trisakti 2018. Hasil: Hasil pengisian kuesioner diklasifikasikan ke dalam kategori tingkat kecemasan menurut kriteria masingmasing kuesioner. Pengukuran menggunakan kuesioner MDAS menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 56,7% mahasiswa memiliki kecenderungan cemas rendah, 36,4% cemas moderat atau sedang, 3,7% cemas berat dan 3,2% cemas tinggi. Pengukuran menggunakan kuesioner IDAF-4C menunjukkan bahwa 95,4% mahasiswa termasuk dalam kategori tidak cemas, 2,8% cemas rendah hingga sedang dan 1,8% cemas tinggi. Kesimpulan: Sebagian besar mahasiswa program profesi FKG Usakti 2018 memiliki kecenderungan rasa cemas yang rendah dalam menerima prosedur perawatan bedah mulut.
B Background: Anxiety about dental health care often referred as dental anxiety. Dental anxiety can affect the attitude of patients in receiving dental health services, especially in invasive dental treatment, such as oral surgery procedures. Objective: This study was conducted to describe the anxiety level of professional program students at the Faculty of Dentistry, Trisakti University 2018 to oral surgery procedures. Methods: The study was conducted in December 2018 until January 2019. Measurements were made using the Indonesian version of MDAS and IDAF4C questionnaires. The subjects of the study were 217 students of professional program at the Faculty of Dentistry, Trisakti University 2018. Results: The results of the completed questionnaires classified into the anxiety level categories according to the criteria of each questionnaire. Measurements using the MDAS questionnaire showed that 56.7% of students had a tendency to low anxiety, 36.4% were moderate anxious, 3.7% were severely anxious and 3.2% were highly anxious. Measurements using the IDAF-4C questionnaire showed that the 95.4% of students belonged to the category of not anxious, 2.8% were low to moderate anxious and 1.8% were highly anxious. Conclusion: Most students of professional program at the Faculty of Dentistry, Trisakti University 2018 have a low anxiety tendency in accepting oral surgery procedures.
