T Transporation has a very essential role to the development of a region because it gives access for the people to fulfill their need of goods and services everyday, and it increases social and economical activity. With sufficient accessibility, transportation should be able to ignite trans-regional interaction that could boost economical growth that is accompanied with infrastructure development.Improving the quality of transport facilities could be one of the solutions to a developed city. Combining several transportation facilities such as train station and bus terminal could increase the efficiency of mass transportation. Designing a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area is an approach to the development of a region that adopted mixed-use space planning and maximizing the use of mass transportation such as busses, city trains, and other means of city-bound transportation, that is equipped with pedestrian and bike lane network. That way, means of traveling will be dominated with public transportation that directly connected to the destination. By using TOD as a design concept, this development could be one step to develop Tangerang. Seen from the accessibility that will increase and the location of the development that will be carried on in the center of Tangerang, this public facility will ease the transportation of citizens. The location of the site is promising for a transportation facility. Seeing this condition the design must take into account the surrounding environment, whether is it the users, building function, to deciding the efficient access to the site. That makes eco-technology a right approach to the design of central station that is based on the environment.
