L Latar Belakang: Pembentukan dan pembersihan saluran akar sulit didapatkan secara maksimal pada dilaserasi akar. Kesalahan yang sering terjadi adalah deviasi saluran akar hingga perforasi. Glide path direkomendasikan sebelum preparasi saluran akar. NeoNiti dan M3L-Platinum memiliki desain penampang dan teknologi pembuatan yang berbeda sehingga mungkin berpengaruh pada deviasi saluran akar dan centering ability.Tujuan: Mengetahui perbedaan hasil preparasi single file rotary dengan dan tanpa glide path terhadap deviasi saluran akar dan centering ability di 3mm, 6mm, dan 9mm dari apikal.Metode: 32 buah blok endodontik dibagi 4 kelompok secara acak. 2 kelompok pertama preparasi tanpa menggunakan glide path dan 2 kelompok berikutnya preparasi menggunakan glide path. File yang digunakan NeoNiti dan M3L-Platinum. Pengambilan foto dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah preparasi saluran akar kemudian dilakukan superimposisi dan diukur untuk mendapatkan nilai deviasi saluran akar dan centering ability.Hasil: Terdapat perbedaan signifikan hasil preparasi single file rotary (NeoNiti dan M3L-Platinum) dengan dan tanpa glide path terhadap deviasi saluran akar dan centering ability di 3mm dan 6mm dari apikal (p<0.05). Titik 9mm tidak menunjukkan adanya perbedaan hasil preparasi single file rotary (NeoNiti dan M3L-Platinum) dengan dan tanpa glide path terhadap deviasi saluran akar dan centering ability (p>0.05).Kesimpulan: Penggunaan glide path pada M3L-Platinum menghasilkan deviasi saluran akar dan centering ability yang cukup besar di titik 3mm dan 6mm. NeoNiti dan M3L-Platinum tidak memberikan hasil yang signifikan terhadap deviasi saluran akar dan centering ability di titik 9mm.

B Background: Root canal cleaning and shaping are complicated to achieve optimal root dilacerations. The error that often occurs is canal transportation to perforation. A glide path is recommended before root canal preparation. NeoNiti and M3L-Platinum have different cross-sectional designs and manufacturing technologies that may affect canal transportation and centering ability.Objective: Determine the differences in the results of single file rotary preparations with and without glide path on canal transportation and centering ability at 3mm, 6mm, and 9mm from the apical.Methods: 32 pieces of endodontic blocks were randomly divided into 4 groups. The first 2 groups were prepared without using the glide path and the next 2 groups were prepared using the glide path. Files used by NeoNiti and M3L-Platinum. Before and after root canal preparation, photographs were taken and then superimposed and measured to get the canal transportation and centering ability values.Result: There were significant differences in the results of single file rotary preparations (NeoNiti and M3L-Platinum) with and without glide path on canal transportation and centering ability at 3mm and 6mm from the apical (p<0.05). There were no significant differences in the results of single file rotary preparations (NeoNiti and M3L-Platinum) with and without glide path on canal transportation and centering ability at 9mm (p>0.05)Conclusion: Using a glide path on M3L-Platinum has significant differences in canal transportation and centering ability at 3mm and 6mm. NeoNiti and M3L-Platinum have no significant differences in canal transportation and centering ability at 9mm.
