Efektivitas berbagai jenis file Ni-Ti dan waktu preparasi terhadap daya potong dinding saluran double curve simulasi
D Double curve canal adalah salah satu kompleksitas endodontik yang dapat ditemui. Kegagalan yang sering terjadi dalam perawatan saluran akar double curve adalah terbentuknya ledge, fraktur instrumen, canal blockage, zip dan pembuatan elbow. Tantangan pada anatomi saluran akar yang kompleks, mengarahkan klinisi pada penggunaan instrumen rotari nikelâ€titanium (Ni-Ti). Preparasi saluran akar dengan single system file rotari membutuhkan waktu yang singkat. Tujuan: Mengetahui efektivitas berbagai jenis file Ni-Ti (One Curve, HyFlex EDM, dan M3-L Platinum) dan waktu preparasi terhadap daya potong dinding saluran double curve simulasi. Metode: 12 blok akrilik saluran double curve simulasi dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok. Kelompok I-One Curve, Kelompok II-HyFlex EDM, Kelompok III-M3-L Platinum. 4 sampel setiap grup diletakan pada custom made holder dan di foto sebelum dan setelah instrumentasi pada detik ke 30, 60, dan 90. Penentuan titik pengukuran menggunakan metode Schneider. Foto sebelum dan setelah preparasi dilakukan superimposisi lalu diukur distorsi pada dinding dalam dan luar di coronal dan apical curve. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji Two-way ANOVA dan Post-Hoc Tukey. Hasil:Terdapat perbedaan bermakna (p<0,05) distorsi dinding dalam terhadap dinding luar coronal curve dan apical curve menggunakan One Curve dan HyFlex EDM setelah preparasi 30, 60, dan 90 detik, sedangkan M3-L Platinum hanya pada apical curve. Terdapat perbedaan bermakna (p<0,05) distorsi antara dinding luar bagian coronal dan apical curve menggunakan One Curve, HyFlex EDM, dan M3-L Platinum setelah preparasi 30, 60, dan 90 detik. Kesimpulan: Preparasi dengan One Curve memiliki distorsi yang paling kecil pada saluran double curve simulasi. M3-L Platinum memiliki distorsi yang paling besar dibandingkan dengan One Curve dan HyFlex EDM. Waktu tidak berpengaruh terhadap jenis file dan terjadinya distorsi.
E Encountered. Failures that often occur in the treatment of double curve root canals are the formation of ledges, instrument fractures, canal blockage, zip and elbow making. Challenges to the complex anatomy of root canals, led clinicians to the use of nickelâ€titanium (Ni-Ti) rotary instruments. Root canal preparation with single system file rotary takes shorter time. Objective: Knowing the effectiveness of various Ni-Ti file types and the preparation time against the cutting ability of the simulated double curve canal wall. Method: 12 acrylic blocks of double curve canal simulation divided into 3 groups. Group I-One Curve, Group II-HyFlex EDM, Group III-M3-L Platinum. 4 samples of each group were placed on a custom made holder and photographed before and after instrumentation at the 30, 60, and 90 seconds. Determination of measurement points using the Schneider method. Photos before and after preparation are superimpositioned and then measured distortion on the inner and outer walls in the coronal and apical curve. Statistical analysis using two-way ANOVA and Post-Hoc Tukey tests. Result: There was a significant difference (p<0.05) of the distortion of the inner wall against the outer wall of the coronal curve and apical curve using the One Curve and HyFlex EDM after 30, 60, and 90 seconds of preparation, while in the M3-L Platinum only in the apical curve. There was a significant difference (p<0.05) distortion between the outer wall of the coronal and apical curves using One Curve, HyFlex EDM, and M3-L Platinum after 30, 60, and 90 seconds of preparation. Conclusion: One Curve canal preparation has the least distortion in the double curve canal simulation. Compared to One Curve and HyFlex EDM, M3-L Platinum has the most distortion. File type and distortion are unaffected by time.
