S Sementasi pada gigi tiruan cekat (GTC) berfungsi untuk merekatkan antara protesa pada abutment. Resin semen merupakan bahan semen luting yang banyak digunakan pada bidang kedokteran gigi karena memiliki sifat mekanik dan fisik yang lebih unggul dibandingkan bahan semen luting lainnya. Komposisi resin semen terdiri dari matriks, filler, dan coupling agent. Ketiga komposisi tersebut sangat berpengaruh terhadap sifat fisik dan mekanis yang dimiliki resin semen. Resin semen self-adhesive dual cure dan resin semen adhesive dual cure faktanya hanya berbeda berdasarkan bahan perekatnya. Akan tetapi, kedua bahan tersebut memiliki beberapa komposisi berbeda yang dapat mempengaruhi sifat mekanis salah satunya adalah flexural strength. Flexural strength berperan dalam mengukur kemampuan fleksibilitas suatu bahan terhadap gaya dan tekanan pengunyahan di dalam rongga mulut. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui flexural strength bahan sementasi resin semen self-adhesive dual cure dan resin semen adhesive dual cure. Metode: Objek penelitian adalah resin semen self-adhesive dual cure dan resin semen adhesive dual cure. Resin semen dengan sediaan tube kemudian dipasang pada automix tip. Deponir sampel pada mould berbentuk persegi panjang dengan dimensi panjang 25 mm, lebar 2 mm, dan tinggi 2 mm yang kemudian dapat di light cure. Setelah semua sampel telah dibuat dapat dilakukan uji flexural strength menggunakan Universal Testing Machine (UTM) dengan kecepatan 0,75mm/min. Data yang dihasilkan dilakukan uji normalitas dan uji Independent T test. Hasil: Hasil dari uji flexural strength terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara rata-rata nilai flexural strength resin semen self-adhesive dual cure dengan resin semen adhesive dual cure.

Resin cement is a cement luting material that is widely used in the field of dentistry because it has superior mechanical and physical properties compared to other cement luting materials. The composition of resin cement resin consists of matrix, filler, and coupling agent. These compositions greatly affect the physical and mechanical properties of the resin cement. Dual cure self-adhesive resin cement and dual cure adhesive resin cement are in fact only different based on the adhesive material. However, both materials have several different compositions that can affect the mechanical properties, one of which is flexural strength. Flexural strength plays a role in measuring the flexibility of a material against chewing forces and pressures in the oral cavity. Objective: This study aimed to determine the flexural strength of self-adhesive dual cure and adhesive dual cure resin cement materials. Methods: The object of the study was self-adhesive dual cure and adhesive dual cure resin cement materials. The cement resin was put into the preparation tube and then attached to the automix tip. Inject the samples on a rectangular mould with dimensions of 25 mm long, 2 mm wide, and 2 mm high which can then be light cured. After all samples have been made, the flexural strength test can be carried out using a Universal Testing Machine (UTM) at a speed of 0.75mm/min. The resulting data was tested for normality and Independent T test. Results: The results of the flexural strength test showed a significant difference between the mean flexural strength values of dual cure self-adhesive resin cement and dual cure adhesive resin cement.
