H Halte bus sebagai elemen transportasi perkotaan keberadaannya menjadi penting karena posisi yang strategis, sehingga sekaligus dapat menjadi elemen pembentuk citra kota. Di Kota Surabaya, saat ini di beberapa lokasi bentuk halte bus masih beragam, dan belum memiliki ciri khas. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menemukan aspek-aspek penentu legibilitas pada halte di kota Surabaya dan menemukan peran halte bus Suroboyo sebagai elemen nodes pembentuk citra kota Surabaya. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian berada di kecamatan Tegalsari dan Kecamatan Genteng. Penelitian menemukan bahwa halte bus di kota Surabaya terkait dengan elemen pembentuk citra kota Surabaya yang paling berperan adalah sebagai elemen nodes, yang ditentukan oleh bentuk, elemen bangunan, kapasitas dan lokasi halte bus.
B Bus stops as an element of urban transportation are important because of their strategic position, so that they can also become elements of forming the city's image. In the city of Surabaya, currently in several locations the forms of bus stops are still diverse, and do not yet have their own characteristics. The purpose of this study is to determine the determinants of legitimacy at bus stops in the city of Surabaya and to determine the role of the Suroboyo bus stop as a node element that forms the image of the city of Surabaya. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The research locations are in the Tegalsari District and the Genteng District. The study found that bus stops in the city of Surabaya are related to the image-forming elements of the city of Surabaya, the most important of which is as a node element, which is determined by the shape, building elements, capacity and location of the bus stop.
