S Studi kelayakan peralatan keamanan penerbangan Walk Thtough Metal Detectoı (WTMD) dalam memeriksa penumpanp pada bandar udara di Indonesia adalah untuk meningkatkan standar kinerja peralatan, mencegah peralatan tidak berfungsi sesuai standar dan memperpanjang uisur operasi peralatan fasilitas keamanan penerbangan yaitu Wcıllc Thı oııgh Nletcıl Detcctor (WTMD) yang ada pada salah satu bandar udara l‹elas 3 di Indonesia dalam memeriksa penumpanp dengan acuan regulasi dari Imler national Civil Avicıtion Oı,qan imi/ron (ICAO).Dengan melakukan sirnulasî perhitunpan pada peralatan da/k Through Metnl Detectoi (WTMD) yang lama dan peralatan Walk Through Nletal Detector (WTMD) yang baru pada salah satu bandar udara kelas 3 di Indonesia menggunakan Mean Tiıııe Benveen Failure (MTBF) dan Mean kime To Repaiı (MTTR), peralatan yang terpasang pada tahun 2002 mendapatkan nilai re/iobi/i/y (R) hanya 60,65% dan nilai availability (A) hanya mendapatkan nilai 56% dan peralatan yang terpasang pada tahun 2010 mendapatkan nilai reliability (R) 98% dan nilai availability (A) mendapatkan nilai 97,2 %.Peralatan keamanan penerbangan Walk Through Metal Detectoi (WTMD) dengan kondisi sangat sering mengalami gangguan atau kerusakan dengan nilai reliability (R) dan avoiJaf›iJiy (A) < 70%, harus diganti dengan peralatan yang baru.
