Analisis bibliometrik perkembangan penelitian environmental, social, and governance
P Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pandangan komprehensif tentang perkembangan dalam penelitian environmental, social, and governance (ESG) dengan memahami tren dan penekanan penelitian saat ini, kemudian mengidentifikasi research gap serta memprediksi arah penelitian di masa depan. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi tema paling relevan terkait penelitian ESG melalui analisis bibliometrik menggunakan keyword “ESG†sebagai input pencarian data pada database Scopus. Perangkat lunak Vosviewer digunakan sebagai alat analisis bibliometrik untuk memvisualisasikan jaringan authorship (negara) dan keywords.Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pada Januari 2023 mendapatkan 872 publikasi dalam kurun waktu 2006 hingga 2022. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tren pertumbuhan pada jumlah publikasi terkait ESG sejalan dengan perkembangan konsep dan praktik ESG. Masih terdapat dominasi pada publisher dan journal publikasi walaupun jurnal publikasi cukup variatif. United States dan United Kingdom adalah negara terdepan dalam bidang penelitian ESG yang menyumbangkan jumlah publikasi terbesar pada database Scopus. Analisis keywords menunjukkan bahwa publikasi ilmiah terkait ESG dalam periode 2006-2022 berfokus pada tema-tema yang berkaitan dengan investment, ESG strategy and approach, reporting and performance, dislosure and management, dan masing-masing pilar ESG. Analisis bibliometrik yang disajikan memberikan informasi yang relevan mengenai tema-tema terkait ESG yang masih belum banyak dieksplor dan diprediksi menjadi arah penelitian terkait ESG di masa depan seperti ESG rating, innovation, financial market, dan responsible investing.
T This study aims to gain a comprehensive view of developments in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) research, by understanding current research trends and its emphases, then identifying research gaps and predicting future research directions. This research evaluates the most relevant themes related to ESG research through bibliometric analysis using the keyword \\\"ESG\\\" as data search input in the Scopus database. Vosviewer software was adopted as a bibliometric analysis tool to visualize the networks of authorship (country) and keyword.Data collection carried out in January 2023 retrieved a total of 872 publications in the period 2006 to 2022. The results show that the growth trend in the number of scientific publications related to ESG is in line with the highlights of ESG’s concept and practice developments. There is still dominance in publication publishers but not in journals with very varied publication sources. The United States and United Kingdom are a leading country in the field of ESG research, contributing the largest number of publications in the Scopus database. Keyword analysis shows that scientific publications related to ESG in the 2006-2022 period focus on themes related to investment, ESG strategy and approach, reporting and performance, disclosures and management, and each ESG pillar. The bibliometric analysis presented provides relevant information regarding ESG-related themes that have not yet been widely explored and are predicted to be the direction of ESG-related research in the future, such as ESG rating, innovation, financial markets, and responsible investing.
