D Dalam lingkungan suatu perusahaan, penerapan teknologi informasi sangat dibutuhkan guna menunjang kelancaraan operasional perusahaan. Sebagai contoh, PT. PLN (Persero) wilayah SUMBAR membutuhkan penerapan teknologi informasi untuk memberikan pelayanan kepada pelanggan PLN dalam proses pembayaran rekening listrik secara online.Dalam tugas - akhir ini telah dibuat suatu simulasi sistem yang menggambarkan jaringan komputer berbasis web service dalam proses pembayaran listrik secara online pada PT.PLN (Persero) wilayah SUMBAR. Sistem ini dibuat menggunakan bahasa pemrograman VB.NET dan Oracle. Bahasa pemrograman VB.NET berfungsi untuk mengamoil informasi pelanggan PLN pada server database melalui fungsi gateway yang dijalankan oleh web service dengan menggunkan XML-SOAP dan kemudian cliteruskan oleh Oracle Client untuk mengakses ke database. Akses database akan ditampilkan kepada administrator melalui web browser menggunakan VB.NET.Dari basil uji coba dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem ini merupakan simulasi transaksi data menggunakan web service pada sistem online payment pada PT.PLN (Persero) Wilayah SUMBAR.

F For a company, the application of information technology is needed in order to keep the continuity of the operational process. As for PT PLN (Persero) Sum!Jar Area needs the applied informational technology to help them services their custcmers for online process of eiectrical bill payment.In this final assignment, a system simulation is made describing computer network used in the web service for PLN\'.s online electrical bills payment. The system is using programming languages VB. NET and Oracle. VB. NET is use to gather information from the customer on a server databas2, through c: gateway function which r;ms b]1 a web service using XML-SOAP; later will be forwarded by the Oracle Client to access the database. The database access will be displayed to the administrator through a web browser using VB. NETFrom the tests can be concluded that the system is a simulation of data transactions, using web service on an online payment system of PT PLN (Persero) Sumbar Area.
