Perbandingan kadar kolesterol total antara perempuan premenopause dan pascamenopause pada suku batak
K Kadar kolesterol darah yang tinggi merupakan faktor utama terjadinya gangguan kardiovaskular. Penurunan hormon estrogen pada perempuan pascamenopause dapat mengakibatkan terjadinya peningkatan kadar kolesterol dalam darah dibandingkan perempuan premenopause. Suku Batak sering mengkonsumsi makanan tinggi kolesterol dan alkohol pada resepsi adat, sehingga suku Batak beresiko terjadi hiperkolesterolemia. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan bersifat observasional dengan desain cross sectional analitik yang mengikutsertakan 30 perempuan premenopause dan 30 perempuan pascamenopause. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara wawancara menggunakan kuesioner yang meliputi data sosiodemografi dan pola makan. Pengukuran kadar kolesterol total dilakukan dengan cara teknik pengambilan darah lewat pembuluh darah kapiler. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan bermakna kadar kolesterol total antara perempuan premenopause dan pascamenopause pada suku Batak (p = 0,024). Dari faktor yang diteliti, pada perempuan premenopause adanya hubungan yang bermakna kadar kolesterol total dengan indeks massa tubuh (p = 0,002) dan perempuan pascamenopause terdapat adanya hubungan bermakna kadar kolesterol total dengan indeks massa tubuh (p = 0,000). Penelitian ini menunjukkan perbedaan bermakna kadar kolesterol total pada perempuan premenopause dan pascamenopause pada suku Batak.

Data were collected by interview using a questionnaire that included age , education level , marital status , occupation , age of menarche , lifestyle , diet and body mass index (BMI) . Measurement of total cholesterol level is done by blood sampling technique through capillary blood vessels. The result showed that there were significant differences in total cholesterol levels between premenopausal and postmenopausal woman in Batak tribe (p = 0,024). Factors of studied, in premenopausal women significant relationship with total cholesterol levels and body mass index (p = 0,002). postmenopausal women there is a significant correlation with total cholesterol levels body mass index (p = 0,000). This study shows significant differences in total cholesterol levels in premenopausal and postmenopausal women in the Batak tribe . Postmenopausal women cholesterol levels > 200 mg / dl more than the total cholesterol levels of premenopausal women.
