P PT. Tirta Intimizu Nusantara is a company engaged in the manufacture of water pumps. The research was conducted on the production of the PS-116 BIT water pump which has the highest number of requests. The company intends to increase its competitiveness in the current manufacturing industry rivalry by focusing on sustainability. However, the company still has challenges in its manufacturing process, such as missed production targets due to defect. This study uses a Sustainable Lean Manufacturing approach to achieve the company's goal of becoming more competitive by reducing waste and pollution as well as achieving a more efficient production process. This research begins by identifying Value Added (VA), Necessary Non-Value Added (NNVA), Non-Value Added (NVA) and waste activities using Process Activity Mapping (PAM). The waste contained in the production process is defects, waiting, and excess processing. Then determine sustainability indicators for Sustainable Value Stream Mapping (SVSM). Furthermore, the sustainability index is calculated to find out how much effort the company needs to achieve sustainability. The proposed improvements are making SOP for the tig welding process, SOP for connecting cables, SOP for installing o-rings, adding automatic circuit breakers, adding timers to welding machines, adding air blow guns, increasing the number of operators, eliminating repetitive inspection activities, merging activities, procuring earplugs, implementing 3R strategies (reduce, reuse, recycle), and using water treatment plants. After improvement, the overall sustainability index value was reduced by 65%, so that the final value of the company's sustainability index was 118%. With the improvement in the sustainability index value, the production efficiency also improved by 11.28% and the Process Cycle Efficiency (PCE) value increased to 90.49%, so that the company's production process became more efficient.
