S Situ Gedong terletak di Kabupaten Bogor memiliki luas sebesar 7,246 ha dengan volume air sebesar 145.000 m³. Kegiatan di sekitar Situ Gedong berasal dari permukiman, bengkel, rumah makan, tempat cuci kendaraan, peternakan dan tempat ibadah serta kegiatan lainnya. Kegiatan tersebut berpotensi menjadi penyebab terganggunya kualitas air, sehingga perlu dilakukan kajian mengenai kualitas air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kegiatan di sekitar perairan Situ Gedong, menganalisis kualitas air dan status mutu air serta menetapkan daya tampung beban pencemar. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan survei mengelilingi bantaran dengan jarak 150 m dari bantaran situ, hal ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kegiatan di sekitar situ. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan sebanyak 3 (tiga) kali pada bulan April, Mei dan Juni 2024. Sampel dianalisis di Laboratorium Jurusan Teknik Lingkungan, Universitas Trisakti. Kualitas air yang dianalisis terdiri dari parameter Total Suspended Solid (TSS), Suhu, pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Fosfat, Nitrat dan Total Colifrom. Selanjutnya hasil analisis kualitas air dibandingkan dengan baku mutu berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah No. 22 Tahun 2021 Lampiran VI untuk golongan Kelas 2. Status mutu air dihitung dengan menggunakan Indeks Pencemar (IP) dan Daya Tampung Beban Pencemar (DTBP) dihitung berdasarkan PermenLH No. 28 tahun 2009. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa parameter yang melebihi baku mutu adalah TSS, BOD, COD dan Fosfat. Nilai Indeks pencemar selama 3 kali sampling dengan nilai rata-rata 2,98 yang menunjukkan bahwa perairan Situ Gedong tercemar ringan. Nilai daya tampung beban pencemar parameter BOD sebesar 44,78 kg/tahun sedangkan beban pencemar existing sebesar 75,09 kg/tahun. Daya tampung beban pencemar parameter COD sebesar 373,19 kg/tahun sedangkan beban pencemar existing sebesar 645,47 kg/tahun. Daya tampung fosfat sebesar 0,45 kg/tahun sedangkan beban pencemar existing sebesar 12,69 kg/tahun. Daya tampung beban pencemar Nitrat sebesar 142,28 kg/tahun. Dengan demikian nilai kondisi DTBP perairan Situ Gedong sudah melebihi kemampuan menampung beban pencemar. Oleh karena itu maka perlu dilakukan pengelolaan Situ Gedong secara efektif.

S Situ Gedong is located in Bogor Regency and has an area of 7,246 ha with a water volume of 145,000 m³. Activities around Situ Gedong come from settlements, workshops, restaurants, vehicle washes, farms and places of worship as well as other activities. These activities have the potential to be the cause of water quality disruptions, so it is necessary to conduct a study on water quality. This study aims to determine the activities around the waters of Situ Gedong, analyze water quality and water quality status and determine the carrying capacity of pollutant loads. The research method was carried out by surveying around the bank at a distance of 150 m from the bank, this was done to find out the activities around it. Sampling was carried out 3 (three) times in April, May and June 2024. The samples were analyzed at the Laboratory of the Department of Environmental Engineering, Trisakti University. The water quality analyzed consisted of Total Suspended Solid (TSS), Temperature, pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Phosphate, Nitrate and Total Colifrom. Furthermore, the results of the water quality analysis are compared with the quality standards based on Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021 Attachment VI for the Class 2 group. The status of water quality is calculated using the Pollutant Index (IP) and Pollutant Load Carrying Capacity (DTBP) calculated based on the Minister of Environment Regulation No. 28 of 2009. The results showed that the parameters that exceeded the quality standards were TSS, BOD, COD and Phosphate. The Pollutant Index value for 3 sampling times with an average value of 2.98 which shows that the waters of Situ Gedong are lightly polluted. The value of the carrying capacity of the pollutant load of the BOD parameter is 44.78 kg/year while the existing pollutant load is 75.09 kg/year. The capacity of the COD parameter pollutant load is 373.19 kg/year while the existing pollutant load is 645.47 kg/year. The phosphate capacity is 0.45 kg/year while the existing pollutant load is 12.69 kg/year. The capacity of Nitrate pollutant load is 142.28 kg/year. Thus, the value of the condition of the DTBP in the waters of Situ Gedong has exceeded the ability to accommodate the pollutant load. Therefore, it is necessary to manage Situ Gedong effectively..
