Abstract

K Kota Bekasi merupakan salah satu Pusat Kegiatan Wilayah JABOOETABEK dengan arahan pengembangan yang berfungsi dan berperan sebagai Pusat kegiatan Permukiman, lndustri, Perdagangan dan Jasa. Oengan posisi Wilayah BOOETABEK yang relatif berhimpit dengan OKI Jakarta, menyebabkan Kota Bekasi mengalami perkembangan yang cukup pesat dan harus menampung beban kegiatan sosial-ekonomi yang mulai jenuh di OKI Jakarta. Beban kegiatan sosial-ekonomi yang terjadi di Kola Bekasi tentunya akan berimplikasi terhadap permasalahan Transportasi, salah satunya adalah Terminal.Pada saat ini Terminal Penumpang Kota Bekasi kondisinya sudah tidakefektif dan efisien lagi untuk menampung kurang lebih 4.000 kendaraan yang keluar-masuk setiap harinya, selain kapasitas Terminal yang sudah tidak mencukupi, lokasi Terminal yang berada di Pusat Kegiatan Usaha juga menganggu sirkulasi kendaraan di dalam Terminal.Untuk mengatasi permasalahan-permasalahan tersebut, Pemerintah Kola Bekasi bermaksud untuk memindahkan Terminal dari Pusat Kola ke Pinggir Kola melalui Surat Walikota Bekasi No. 551.1/99, OLLAJ/1/2002 pada Tanggal17 Januari 2002 dengan menetapak 3 (Tiga) alternatif lokasi yaitu Kel. Pengasinan, Kel. Mustikasari dan Kel. Bojong Menteng.Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka dilakukan Studi Pemilihan Lokasi Terminal Baru (Terminal Penumpang Tipe A) berdasarkan aspek Transportasi, Tata Ruang dan Kondisi Tapak. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan 4 (Empat) Pendekatan yaitu ldentifikasi Faktor Penentu, Pembobotan Faktor Penentu, Penilaian Ukuran Faktor Penentu dan Pemilihan Lokasi Terminal Penumpang Tipe A. Selain itu Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menganalisa lmplikasi Relokasi Terminal Penumpang Tipe A Kota Bekasi terhadap Perkembangan Kota dilihat dari Tata Ruang, Sistem Transportasi Perkotaan dan Konsep Tapak Terminal.

With the area position of BODETABEK which relatively side by side with the DKI Jakarta, has causing Bekasi city has a quite rapidly development and have to intercept the burden of social-economy which is starting to be bored in DKI. Jakarta. The social-economy activity burden that happens in Bekasi city is of course will implicate on the transportation problem, and one of it is the Terminal.At this time the condition of the Passenger Terminal of Bekasi city is not effective and efficient anymore to bare more than 4.000 vehicle that goes out and in every day, beside the Terminal capacity which is not sufficient, the Terminal location which lies in the center of business activities is also intruding the vehicle sirculation inside the Terminal.To solve these problem, the Government of Bekasi city intend to relocate the Terminal from the Town Center to the Suburban through the letter of Major of the Bekasi city no. 551.1/99, DLLAJ/1/2002 on January,17 th 2002 by deciding 3 alternative. location which are Pengasinan, Mustikasari and Bojong Menteng.Based on that, conducted The Study Of Choosing of The New Terminal Location (Type A Passenger Terminal) based on Transportation aspect, Space Pattern aspect and Site Condition aspect. This research is conduct by using 4 (four) approach, which are deciding factors identification, deciding factor weighting, measurement of the size of deciding factor and choosing The Type A Passenger Terminal Location. Beside that, this research is also purpose to analyze the implication of the relocation of the New Terminal in Bekasi city concerning to the City Development viewed from the Space Pattern, City Transportation System, and Terminal Site Concept.
