K Karies yang disebabkan karena kebiasaan minum susu botol dalam jangka waktu yang cukup lama disebut nursing bottle caries.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lama minum susu botol dengan tingkat keparahan karies gigi pada anak usia 4-9 tahun.Metode penelitian: cross-sectional dengan dengan menggunakan rekam medik pasien anak usia 4-9 tahun di RSGM FKG Usakti periode Januari-Desember 2013. Jumlah subyek 81 orang. Hasil penelitian : Uji Chi-square dan uji korelasi spearman menunjukkan ada hubungan yg signifikan antara lama minum susu botol dengan tingkat keparahan karies.
O One of the etiologies of caries in the primary teeth is the habit of putting child to sleep with botle filled milk for a period of time, the caries is called nursing bottle caries. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the duration of baby bottle feeding and the severity of primary teeth caries in children aged 4-9 years.This study is a cros-sectional study using the medical records of pediatric patiens aged 4-9 years in RSGM FKG Usakti period Januari-December 2013.The number of subject is 81. Results : Chi-square test and spearman correlation test showed there is a sgnificant relationship between the duration of baby bottle feeding and the severity of primary teeth caries.
