P Pemasangan casing merupakan salah satu kegiatan pemboran yang berfungsi pada permasalahan- permasalahan yang ada dalam kegiatan pemboran,seperti loss circulation, kick, dan runtuhnya dinding sumur, sehingga perlu adanya design casing yang efektif dan efisien. Pada tugas akhir ini berfokus mengenai evaluasi perencanaan casing pada sumur onshore “MSH-96â€. Perencanaan casingmeliputi penentuan casing setting depth dan grade casing, data yang digunakanberasal dari sumur offset well MD.Penentuan titik kedalaman casing / casing setting depth menggunakanmetode top down. Pada metode ini diperlukan beberapa data, seperti lithologyformasi, tekanan formasi, berat jenis lumpur pemboran yang digunakan, dantekanan rekah formasi yang akan ditembus pada saat melakukan pemborandengan offset well MD sebagai sumur referensi.Dari hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan, untuk sumur MSH-96 akan dipasangconductor, surface, intermediate, dan production casing. Titik kedalamanconductor casing sebesar 0 ft- 196 ft, titik kedalaman surface casing sebesar 0 ft2214 ft, titik kedalaman intermediate casing sebesar 0 ft- 5823 ft, titik kedalamanproduction liner casing sebesar 5434 ft- 8281 ft, titik kedalaman production linercasing tambahan sebesar 8175 ft- 8788 ft. Setelah menentukan casing settingdepth dilanjutkan dengan pemilihan grade casing yang sesuai untuk menahantekanan yang ada pada formasi dengan menggunakan metode maximum loadterhadap grade casing yang digunakan pada sumur MSH-96.Perhitungan yang digunakan pada maximum load adalah dengan caramenghitung beban burst, collapse, dan tension. Beban burst, collapse, dan tensionuntuk casing 13 3/8†berturut-turut sebesar 1047 psi, 1271 psi, 708938 lbs. Bebanburst, collapse, tension untuk casing 9 5/8†berturut-turut sebesar 2754 psi, 4481psi, 196066 lbs. beban burst, collapse, tension untuk casing 7†berturut-turutsebesar 3644 psi, 4705 psi, 440800 lbs. Beban burst, collapse, tension untukcasing 5†berturut-turut sebesar 2755 psi, 4204 psi, 103597 lbs.Dengan, menggunakan safety factor burst 1,1, collapse 1,1, dan tension 1,5,diperoleh grade casing yang paling efektif dan efisien untuk surface casing 133/8†adalah HCK-55;54,5 ppf, intermediate casing 9 5/8†adalah HCQ-55;43,5ppf,, production casing 7†adalah HCL-80;26 ppf, production liner casing 5â€adalah LS-65;13 ppf.

The casing planning includes the determination of casingsetting depth and casing grade, the data used comes from the well offset well MD.Determination of the depth of the casing / casing setting depth using the topdown method. This method requires some data, such as formation lithology,formation pressure, specific gravity of the drilling mud used, and formationfracture pressure that will be penetrated when drilling with offset well MD as areference well.From the results of the calculations performed, the conductor, surface,intermediate, and production casing will be installed for the MSH-96 well. Thedepth of the conductor casing is 0 ft- 196 ft, the surface casing depth is 0 ft- 2214ft, the intermediate casing depth is 0 ft- 5823 ft, the production liner casing depthis 5434 ft- 8281 ft, the production liner casing depth point an additional 8175 ft8,788 ft. After determining the casing setting depth, it is followed by selecting theappropriate casing grade to withstand the pressure in the formation by using themaximum load method against the casing grade used in the MSH-96 well.The calculation used for the maximum load is by calculating the burst load,collapse, and tension. Burst, collapse, and tension loads for casing 13 3/8 â€are1047 psi, 1271 psi, 708938 lbs, respectively. Burst, collapse, tension for casing 95/8 â€are 2754 psi, 4481 psi, 196066 lbs, respectively. burst load, collapse, tensionfor 7 â€casing is 3644 psi, 4705 psi, 440800 lbs, respectively. Burst, collapse, andtension loads for the 5 â€casing are 2755 psi, 4204 psi, 103597 lbs, respectively.By using the safety factor burst 1.1, collapse 1.1, and tension 1.5, the mosteffective and efficient casing grade for surface casing 13 3/8 "is HCK-55; 54.5ppf, intermediate casing 9. 5/8 "is HCQ-55; 43.5 ppf ,, production casing 7" isHCL-80; 26 ppf, production liner casing is 5 "is LS-65; 13 ppf.
