T The number of slum housing in urban areas is increasing, so the government hasrelocated residents to the flat. The goal is to provide adequate housing. The residentswho were relocated to the flat found better socio-economic facilities. This study aimsto see whether differences in the physical conditions of the dwelling affect the socioeconomic conditions of low-income families in slums and flat-houses. The number ofsamples was determined by using the Lemeshow formula as many as 96. The resultsshowed that physical conditions influenced social conditions in both the flat and slumhousing, while the physical condition did not affect the economic conditions in boththe flat and slum housing. The simple-rent flat (rusunawa) has adequate sharedfacilities, but not in slum housing. The physical condition of the rusunawa does notaffect the economic condition of low-income families because in the flat is difficult toget additional income, while it is not the case in slum housing.
