Pengaruh salary dan career development terhadap employee retention melalui job satisfaction pada Hotel di Jakarta Barat
P Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Salary dan CareerDevelopment terhadap Employee Retention melalui Job Satisfaction padaHotel di Jakarta Barat. Kinerja inovasi pada penelitian ini difokuskan padabagaimana perusahaan membuat karyawannya bertahan dimana besarnyadampak pandemi. Responden merupakan karyawan dari Ibis Group Di JakartaBarat yaitu Ibis Budget Dadap, Ibis Budget Daan Mogot dan Ibis Style Dadap yangberjumlah 260 orang. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan dataprimer yang diperoleh langsung dari responden. Jumlah sample diambilmenggunakan rumus Slovin sebanyak 158 orang. Sampel penelitian dipilihmenggunakan non-probability dan purposive sampling. Analisis data yangdigunakan untuk uji hipotesis yaitu uji validitas, uji reabilitas, dan ujigoodness of fit dibantu dengan menganalisis menggunakan analisis SEM( structure equaling models) dengan menggunakan software AMOS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa salary memiliki pengaruh positifterhadap job satisfaction, career development memiliki pengaruh positifterhadap job satisfaction, dan job satisfaction memiliki pengaruh positifterhadap employee retention. Selain itu, , salary memiliki pengaruh negatifterhadap employee retention, career development memiliki pengaruh negatifterhadap employee retention, dan salary memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadapemployee retention melalui job satisfaction. Serta career developmentmemiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap employee retention, melalui jobsatisfaction Hasil penelitian ini memberikan informasi bahwa dengan adanyaperan salary dan career development yang baik akan meningkatkan employeeretention perusahaan hotel tersebut. Selain itu, juga dapat dimediasi oleh jobsatisfaction yang baik maka akan meningkatkan keinginan karyawan untukbertahan.
T This study aims to analyze the effect of salary and career development onemployee retention through job satisfaction at hotels in West Jakarta. Theinnovation performance in this study is focused on how companies make theiremployees survive where the magnitude of the impact of the pandemic is. Respondents were employees of the Ibis Group in West Jakarta, namely IbisBudget Dadap, Ibis Budget Daan Mogot and Ibis Style Dadap, totaling 260people. The data used in this study is primary data obtained directly from therespondents. The number of samples taken using the Slovin formula is 158people. The research sample was selected using non-probability and purposivesampling. Data analysis used to test the hypothesis, namely validity test, reliabilitytest, and goodness of fit test is assisted by analyzing using SEM (structureequaling models) analysis using AMOS software. The results of the study show that salary has a positive effect on job satisfaction, career development has a positive effect on job satisfaction, and job satisfactionhas a positive effect on employee retention. In addition, salary has a negativeeffect on employee retention, career development has a negative effect onemployee retention, and salary has a negative effect on employee retentionthrough job satisfaction. And career development has a negative effect onemployee retention, through job satisfaction. The results of this study provideinformation that the role of good salary and career development will increaseemployee retention in the hotel company. In addition, it can also be mediated bygood job satisfaction, which will increase the desire of employees to survive.
