N Nowadays, women with dual roles are frequently found. Categories as such are those who are not only living as housewives, but also earning a living for the family. The risk that could develop from having dual roles is that these women would encounter work-family conflict. Work-family conflict is a conflict that gives a hard time for an individual to participate in both work and family roles as there are incompatible demands between the work and family roles. Dentists in Indonesia are mostly women, and thus, work-family conflict is often experienced by female dentists in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the work-family conflict to the female dentists at Oral and Dental Hospital Faculty of Dentistry, Trisakti University (RSGM FKG Usakti). This research was conducted using descriptive observation and questionnaires are used as data collection method. Fifty female dentists with dual roles, who work in RSGM FKG Usakti were surveyed. Purposive sampling technique was used for the sample collection and the data is analyzed using statistic descriptive analysis technique. The results indicated that the female dentists in RSGM FKG Usakti were able to deal with the conflict well. Hence, it is concluded that the effect of work-family conflict to the female dentists at RSGM FKG Usakti is considered to be insignificant. The work-family conflicts are happening, though they are managed well by the female dentists at RSGM FKG Usakti, such as by getting used to the circumstance, getting family support, and having a well stress and time management.
