P Pentanahan instalasi listrik pada suatu bangunan sangat penting untuk menjagakontiniuitas, keandalan dan kenyamanan dalam penyaluran instalasi listrik kepadakonsumen. Penghantar tersebut harus dipasang sesuai fungsinya yaitu mentanahkan arusbocor yang mengalir pada BKT atau body suatu unit ke tanah. Pemasangan pentanahanharus sesuai dengan standar pentanahan yang diakui yaitu SNI PUIL 2011. Penelitianmembahas khususnya tentang sistem pentanahan instalasi listrik yang terpasang padaGedung F – Universitas Pelita Harapan Tangerang. Dengan beberapa data yang minim,penulis melakukan pendekatan dengan observasi lapangan atas utilitas terpasang sepertistop kontak dan panel listrik serta lingkungan tempat gedung F berdiri. Pada observasitersebut didapati beberapa hal yaitu sistem pentanahan instalasi listrik menggunakan sistemTN-C-S, tanah yang disekeliling gedung mempunyai karakter tanah rawa yang rendahresistivitas, box kontrol pentanahan instalasi listrik tertimbun tanah, penghantar groundinginstalasi listrik menggunakan material aluminium, letak kabel penghantar pentanahaninstalasi listrik sangat dekat dengan instalasi pentanahan surja petir dan juga dilakukanobservasi pengukuran tegangan netral-ground terhadap keseluruhan lalu didapati bedapotensial netral-ground sangat besar pada stop kontak uticon yaitu sebesar 65.9 Volt yangdisebabkan karena kesalahan instalatir. Jadi, menurut buku panduan PUIL 2011 mengenaikelayakan instalasi dengan keadaan penghantaran pentanahan gedung terpasang makasistem pentanahan pada Gedung F Universitas Pelita Harapan dikategorikan tidak layak.Oleh sebab itu disarankan box kontrol, elektroda tanah dan penghantar pentanahan instalasilistrik dari panel utama di lantai roof perlu dibuat kembali , instalasi pentanahan surja petirtidak digabung dengan kabel data, kabel feeder maupun kabel pentanahan lain sertainstalasi listrik yang mengalami induksi harus diperbaiki.

G Grounding of an electrical installation at a building is very important to providecontiniuity, reliability and suitable performa for consumer needs. The conductor must beinstalled as what they purposed means to send remains voltage that caused of inductionstreaming on opened conductors like electrical panel or body of some electronic units toground. Probably the installation of these conductors must fit with regulation of electricalgrounding that stands on Indonesia we call it SNI PUIL 2011. This research project exactlytalk about grounding of an electrical installation that used on Gedung F – Universitas PelitaHarapan Tangerang. Almost research does with less document, writer used to did someapproach with field observation based on installed utilites such as electrical socket,electrical panel and things surrounding where that building stands. At those observation wegot several things that building actually used TN-C-S grounding system, ground type wherebuilding stands are categorized as swamp land that less of resistivity, box control ofelectrical grounding has been buried in the ground, conductor that used on are aluminium,the actual position of this electrical grounding saw at tray cable is too close with lightningprotection system and also did some observation like measuring the difference voltage ofnetral-ground terminal at researcher’s office then we got so much score about 65.9 Volt onno load condition literally caused of wrong installation. So according to PUIL 2011 aboutelectrical installation standard in Indonesia compared with actual condition indeed thosegrounding system categorized as not qualified. Therefore we do suggest to make a new boxcontrol, ground electrode, new conductor from box control to main panel, make arepositition of those cable that lighting protection cant be too close with data cable, feedercable and others grounding system and also the wrong installation of ground systems atoutput side must be repaired.
